Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

A being of great power took notice of you and desired you. In an attempt to gain your affection, it bestowed upon you the gift of foresight. When you denied the being's advances (for reasons of your choosing), it grew angry. Seeking vengeance for this slight, it cursed you so that none shall believe your prophecies, dooming you to life as an outcast.

Your nature as an oracle of your patron may grant you favor or mistrust from followers of the being, depending on the Scorned One's temperament. Upon engaging with followers of your patron, you must roll a percentage die. If your percentage is lower than or equal to your WIS score (plus modifier), you will find favor among them. If your percentage is higher than your WIS score (plus modifier), you will find mistrust.

Tether of the Oracle

Starting at 1st level, your patron grants you the ability to touch the minds of other creatures. You create a telepathic connection, or tether, with one creature you can see within 30 ft. This connection allows you and the creature to communicate telepathically with no language barrier. The tether breaks after 1 hour or upon the failing of a WIS save (DC 10 plus number of tethered creatures). Upon the failure of the WIS save, player character is inundated with telepathic backlash of the tethered creature's autonomous functions which results in the PC's next turn to have disadvantage on all attacks and ability checks.

Oracle's Restoration

Beginning at 6th level, when you cast a divination spell of 2nd level or higher using a spell slot, your patron blesses you, allowing you to regain one expended spell slot. The slot you regain must be of a lever lower than the spell you cast and can't be higher than 5th level.

Scorned One's Fickle Nature

Beginning at 10th level, you can call on your patron to intervene on your behalf when your need is great.

Imploring you patron's aid requires you to use your action. Describe the assistance you seek and roll percentile dice. If you roll a number equal to or lower than your WIS score plus modifier your patron intervenes. The DM chooses the nature of the intervention; the effect of any warlock spell would be appropriate. Player character must offer thanks in the form of offering, prayer, or "impassioned" speech regarding the nature of their patron's "wondrous beauty." If PC does not offer such thanks (or if their thanks is deemed insufficient [per DM]), their patron may dole out punishment lesser than or equal to the amount of aid rendered. (ex: if patron blessed PC with a +2 to CHA roll, the punishment would be no more than a -2 to their next CHA roll)

If your patron intervenes, you can't use this feature again for 7 days. Otherwise, you can use it again after you finish a long rest.

At 20th level, your call for intervention succeeds automatically, no roll required.

Hindsight of the Oracle

Starting at 14th level, you can call up visions of the past that relate to a person, place, or thing within your vicinity. You spend at least 1 minute in meditation and prayer, then receive dreamlike, shadowy glimpses of recent events. You can meditate this way for a number of minutes equal to your Wisdom score and must maintain concentration during that time, as if you were casting a spell.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
