Bard
Base Class: Bard

Bards of the College of Yang Serpent are looked upon by others with both reverence and trepidation.

Serpent's Forked Tongue

You are a sly with your words and easily manipulate a situation to your advantage. When making a Charisma (Persuasion) or Charisma (Deception) check, a roll of 9 or lower on d20 counts as a 10.

Hypnotic Charm

You can attempt to entrance the audience by hypnotic snake charming, if you perform for at least 1 minute. Upon completion of the performance, you can choose a number of humanoids within 60 feet of you who watched and listened to all of it, up to a number equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of one). Each target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC or be charmed by you. While charmed in this way, the target idolizes you, it speaks glowingly of you to anyone who talks to it, and it hinders anyone who opposes you, although it avoids violence unless it was already inclined to fight on your behalf. This effect ends on a target after 1 hour, if it takes any damage, if you attack it, or if it witnesses you attacking or damaging any of its allies.

If a target succeeds on its saving throw, the target has no hint that you tried to charm it.

You must take a short or long rest before using Hypnotic Charm, once it is used.

Yang's Blessing

You appear as hypnotically charming for 1 minute or until your concentration ends. The Yang Serpent attains the ability to cloak itself in captivating magic that make others subservient to the serpent's will. As a bonus action, you can cast command each turn, without expending a spell slot during the duration of Yang's Blessing.

Any creature hypnotized (charmed) by you automatically fails its saving throw against the command you cast with this feature.

You must take a long rest before using Yang's Blessing, once it is used.

Yang's Grand Blessing

As a bonus action, the Serpent can enhance the Yang's Grand Presence for 1 minute or until incapacitated. For the duration, any creature's first attack against you on a turn, must make a Charisma saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, the creature can’t attack you and must choose a new target for its attack, otherwise it loses the attack on this turn. On a successful save, it can attack you on this turn; however, on your next turn, it gains disadvantage on any saving throw it makes against your spells.

You must take a short or long rest before using Yang's Grand Blessing, once it is used.
