Base Class: Barbarian
Of those who walk into battle with fury and fervour, not all have naught by hatred and rage behind their eyes. Those who walk the path of revelry, see battle as the greatest form of celebration, and though their eyes may burn with that same fire and fury, a wide grin of joy never leaves their face. Founded in the Skola vale by more zealous satyrs who sought to take up arms to protect the borders of their home from threats, the path of revelry is a path chosen by those who fight with the same rampaging fervour as other barbarians, but who never wish to forget what they fight for. After wall, why do we fight, if not to preserve what we love?
As a barbarian of the path of revelry, you charge into fights with equal parts rage, and elation, and you traverse the battlefield with an unmistakeable degree of fluency, each swing of your weapon seeming to be part of a mirthful, but frightening, dance.
Contagious Bloodlust
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, whilst you are raging. You can use a bonus action on your turn, to utter a cry of violent encouragement to an ally within 15 feet of you. Choose one of the following effects: The target creature is cured of the frightened condition, or target creature has advantage on the next saving throw, or ability check, it makes. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and regain all uses when you complete a long rest. At Level 10, the list of conditions you can cure with the first option, extends to include charmed, stunned and slowed.
Dance of Destruction
Beginning at 6th level, whilst raging, you magically empower your movement with dance-like steps. You gain the following benefits whilst raging.
- Your walking speed increases by 10 feet.
- You don’t provoke opportunity attacks.
- You can move through the space of another creature, and it doesn’t count as difficult terrain. If you end your turn in another creature’s space, you are shunted to the last unoccupied space you occupied, and you take 1d8 force damage.
Whirlwhind of Celebration and Steel
Beginning at 10th level, you have mastered the ability of fighting truly untethered. Whilst raging, once on each of your turns when you make a weapon attack, you can make another attack with the same weapon against a different creature that is within 5 feet of the original target and within range of your weapon, no action required.
Additionally, when you take the attack action on your turn, you can use a bonus action to extend the range of your attacks by 5 feet.
Giddy Defiance
Starting at 14th level, your wild abandon and unbreakable spirit reach their peak. You are immune to psychic damage whilst raging, and spells or other effects that would charm, frighten, stun or paralyse you, cannot do so, for more than one round.
