Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Your body in enchanted with magic, the origin of this enchantment may be artificial, sheer luck or hereditary. Your body is able to host parts of creature that weren't always ment for you. You can graft parts of other creature's body on your own, gaining abilities in the process.

Grafting

You can graft a part of the body of a creature that is no more than one size larger than you; this feature does not work if the creature is alive or if it's dead from more than 7 days.
There are two steps to graft a body part, you must first sever the part from the rest of the creature and then graft it on your own body.

Severing

To sever a body part you have to make an Intelligence (Nature) or Wisdom (Medicine) check with DC equal to 5 + half the creature CR or level. On a fail, the body part is severed uncorrectly and you cannot graft it. On a success, the part is perfectly severed and can be grafted; once severed, the part keeps its integrity for 8 hours, unless grafted.
If the creature is larger than you, you must spend 2 extra hours to sever it. If severed this way, the part must be grafted immediatly.

Grafting

To graft a body part you must have severd it and the part must still be intact, you have to make an Intelligence (Nature) or Wisdom (Medicine) check with DC equal to 10 + half the creature CR or level. On a fail, the body part is grafted uncorrectly and it rots away. On a success, the part is grafted correctly and can be used; after grafting the part, you must finish a long rest to use it.
Once the process is done, you can use the part as the creature did: your DM might choose to give you a different ability based on how you grafted the part, also, the DM can give you special traits tied to the body part.

You can choose to sever a part from your body, you take 2d12 necrotic damage minus your Sorcecer level, this damage cannot be reduced in any way. Your body fully recovers only after a long rest (the part isn't restored but you can graft a new one). After severing a part from your own body, it loses its integrity and cannot be grafted again.

You can only have three grafted parts at a time, this limit applies only to grafted parts that don't replace existing ones.

Corporeal Structure

From 6th level, your body is used to being grafted. Your hit point maximum increses by 5 for each grafted body part you have; grafting a body part increses it by an extra 5, removing a body part decreases it by 5.

Adept Body

Starting at 14th level, your body is capable of holding more parts than a normal creature; you can exceed the maximum number of grafted parts you can have.
You can graft a new body part even if you already have 3, when you do, your size increases.

Size Increment
Size Number of Grafted Parts

Medium

3 or less

Large

4 or more but less than 6

Huge

6 or more but less than 9

Gargantuan

9 or more

Brutal Grafter

Beginning at 18th level, you can sever part more brutally and still keep them intact. Whenever you score a critical hit against a creature with a melee attack, if you are within 5 feet of the target: you can choose to rip a limb from the creature (the DM chooses if you are able to do it and which limb you can sever): the creature takes 3d12 necrotic damage, this damage cannot be reduced in any way.

If you sever a limb this way, you can temporarily graft it to yourself (it doesn't count against the number grafted parts), the limb keeps its integrity for 1 minute, at the end of which it rots away and you cannot graft it again. You can use this grafting ability only once per short or long rest.
