Cardboard Infiltrator

You're focused on being able to get in and out of any situation, staying hidden at all times. This of course is only capable through the advent of a legendary piece of infiltration technology, revolutionizing the espionage landscape.

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with carpenter's tools, painter's supplies, and disguise kits.

Cardboard Box

Starting at 3rd level, you have learned how to create a legendary device in tactical espionage and infiltration. At the end of a long rest, you can create a cardboard box using carpenter's tools and optional painter's supplies. The box has the following properties:

• The box has an AC of 10, hit points equal to your rogue level, and vulnerability to fire damage.
• You can deploy the cardboard box as a bonus action. As part of the same bonus action you can attempt to hide under the box.
• When you take the hide action, you can hide under the box instead of behind cover. You still must make a stealth check as normal, as nearby creatures may see you when you first enter the box.
• You can move while under the box, but your movement speed is halved. 
• If you are not moving while under the box and a creature sees the box, they will automatically disregard it so long as it is not in their way.
• If a creature sees you moving while you are under the box, you are still considered hidden. However, creatures may choose to approach, investigate, or even immediately attack depending on the level of alertness.
• If the box is destroyed while you are hiding under it, any excess damage is dealt to the creatures hiding under it.
• You can repair a damaged or destroyed cardboard box by expending one hit dice during a short rest.

Improved Cardboard Box

Starting at 9th level, you have improved the initial design of your cardboard box. Your cardboard box no longer has vulnerability to fire damage. Additionally, you can stand upright while holding the cardboard box, revealing an alluring image of your choice (drawn using painter's supplies). You can move freely while holding the cardboard box upright, but you are no longer considered hidden. Any creature of your choice that sees this image within 30 feet must make a wisdom saving throw against your cardboard box's infiltration DC (8 + intelligence modifier + proficiency bonus) or be charmed by it for one minute, or until it takes any damage. While charmed this way, they must spend their movement and action approaching the cardboard box, enamored by the image. Pass or fail, this effect only works on creatures once every 24 hours.

Rapid Reflexes

At 13th level, you can immediately react to situations that would otherwise expose you to danger. When you are spotted by a creature while hidden you can use your reaction to immediately perform one action of your choice. You may do this once per short rest.

You can use your reaction to dive out of a cardboard box and move in any direction within 10 feet. This movement does not provoke opportunity attacks, but you are prone after using this movement.

Your cardboard box is also improved, capable of releasing a six second message as a bonus action while you are within 30 feet of it. The message is audible within 60 feet.

Ultimate Cardboard Box

Starting at 17th level, you have achieved the pinnacle of cardboard box design. Your cardboard box now has resistance to all damage and the contents of the box are not revealed unless opened. It blocks truesight and infrared vision and provides protection from detection and detection magics. You also produce no sound while moving when hidden under the box, preventing tremorsense. Finally, the cardboard box's exterior can be altered as an action, changing both its color and texture, allowing it to seamlessly camouflage with the environment. Creatures have disadvantage spotting the cardboard box when more than 30 feet away, even if the box is moving.
