Base Class: Druid
Druids who join the circle of the dragon believe that dragons are the purest and truest forms of the elements that they represent, showing the duality of some elements and the neutrality of others. They wish to be like these dragons and become physical manifestations of the raw elemental power that dragons possess. They believe that the best way to accomplish this is to become as close to a dragon as they can. The circle of the dragon not only reveres dragons for their pure representation of their respective elements but also for their deep power and intelligence. In a sense, they envy them as a peasant would envy their priest but praise them in the same way that the peasant would too envy the priest. It is not uncommon for the circle of the dragon to devote themself to either Bahamut or Tiamat as a path to becoming the closest they can to not just a dragon, but a dragon god. So too would these same narrowly reaching druids aim for one specific element to represent. A select few of these types have been able to fully transform into their own dragons, pledging themself to an alignment and then an element, however, these are the needles among the haystack of druids. But one of legend was said to have not reached for any specific element or alignment, simply one who harnessed whichever element was needed and whichever morality fit, becoming a dragon of pure fluidity, constantly changing colors, and shapes, casting illusions and ambiguity, some say this ancient druid created those known as the pixie dragons. All likely myth, but even still, many a young druid of the dragon attempts to go down this path, and all since have failed.
