Base Class: Wizard
A newer faction of wizards. These spellcasters have developed a special connection to words and arcane text, this connection allows them to make special versions of spell scrolls that are more powerful. This order tends to keep track of known magics, preferring to keep a collection of scrolls for each spell in existence and always altering the rites and methods to try discovering new magicks. Wizards from this order are keepers of knowledge and magic, they travel to various greater towns and settlements usually as protectors, but they dont remain long as the search for magick is a difficult and long process.
This subclass focuses on the 'crafting spell scrolls' portion of page 128 of Xanathar's guide to everything. These scrolls are able to be made easier and faster and they are stronger than what is normally made. At higher levels, a keepers scrolls can be used by anyone, regardless of magical ability. Keepers also gain access to spells from any other class list but can only make spell scrolls with these spells, they cannot be prepared or retained in the spellbook for regular casting, but can still be casted due to the previously mentioned ability.
Wizardly Quill
2nd-level Scroll keeper feature
As a bonus action, you can magically create a Tiny quill in your free hand. The magic quill has the following properties:
- The quill doesn’t require ink. When you write with it, it produces ink in a color of your choice on the writing surface.
- The time you must spend to copy a spell into your spellbook equals 2 minutes per spell level if you use the quill for the transcription.
- You can erase anything you write with the quill if you wave the feather over the text as a bonus action, provided the text is within 5 feet of you.
This quill disappears if you create another one or if you die.
Scroll savant
2nd level Scroll Keeper feature
Scroll keepers use special sigils and runes passed down from the order to improve their scrolls capabilities.
Starting at second level when you choose this subclass, you are able to improve the ability of scrolls you create. Spell Scrolls you create gain a bonus to their level equal to 1/3rd of your proficiency bonus (rounded up) to a maximum of 1/4th of your wizard level (rounded up). You can make a number of improved scrolls a day equal to your intelligence modifier, and regain all spent uses on a long rest.
The time and gold required to scribe common scrolls is halved if you use your Wizardly quill, this bonus is further reduced to 1/4th at 17th level. This effect applies to higher rarities at later levels; uncommon (6th), rare (14th), very rare (17th), legendary (20th).

-alter the rolled numbers; maximum of what the dice allow, minimum of 0
