Ranger
Base Class: Ranger

You have dedicated yourself to the advanced study of your favored enemies. An enemy slayer has honed their attacks to more precisely and effectively strike their studied foes.

Enemy Sense

At 3rd level, you have studied your favored enemies to the point of knowing their innate defenses. You know whether any of your favored enemies has damage immunities, resistances, or vulnerabilities and what they are.

Honed Strike

Starting at 3rd level, you have honed your combat knowledge of your favored enemies to the point of being able to find their weaknesses better than others. When you hit a favored enemy with a weapon attack, the creature takes an extra 1d6 damage from the weapon.

Enemy Defense

At 7th level, you gain extra resilience against your Favored Enemies assaults on your mind and body.

  • When one of your Favored Enemies forces you to make a saving throw add 1d6 to your result.
  • Once per turn, as a reaction to being attacked by one of your Favored Enemies, you may roll 1d6 and add it to your AC for that attack, after seeing the roll but before knowing whether it hits or misses.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest.

Improved Enemy Critical

At 11th level, your attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20 when targeting one of your favored fnemies.

Enemy Counter

At 15th level, when a Favored Enemy misses you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack against the creature.
