Base Class: Wizard
A unique breed of spell casters, unsatisfied with normal abilities and schools of magic, found a way to split magic itself. Multi-casters are able to forego casting a powerful spell in order to split their magic power, allowing for several weaker spells to be cast at once.
Double Cast
Pull together the magic you would use, and split magics very essence into multiple pieces. This unnatural magic strains the Weave that all magic is drawn from, so you must expend extra strength to attain this feat.
Weavers Exchange
The Weave is strained by your power, but you can repair it. In exchange for your life force, repair the Weave and regain magic power. But this is not all you have learned to do. Giving is easier than taking, but you can still take. By damaging the Weave and losing power, you are able to recover small amounts of health.
Extra Threads
Drawing on your powerful connection to the Weave, you’ve learned of connections you never saw in magic before. As a bonus action, pool your strength together, sacrificing spell slots with a combined level of X. Once chosen, recover spell slots with a combined level of X. This tug of magic against the Weave weakens you, and you are unable to use a bonus action until the end of your next turn.
Splitting Redirection
Your strength at manipulating the Weave and splitting magic has spread to magic cast by others. As a reaction, taken when a spell is cast near you, split magic in two before redirecting it at the caster. If you expend a spell slot of equal level to the magic you are redirecting, you may strengthen each half and equate the situation to you sending two of the same spell towards the original caster.
