Base Class: Monk
You have trained yourself in the Five Forms, the ancient fighting styles that have been refined through generations of discipline.
First Forms
When you take this option at level 3 you choose 2 stances from the options below to learn. You can enter a stance that you have learned as a bonus action, it lasts for 10 minutes or until you enter another stance. You choose an additional stance to learn at levels 6, 9, and 12.
Crane Stance
While in this stance, other creatures have disadvantage on opportunity attacks against you.
Mantis Stance
While in this stance, whenever you use your patient defense feature and creature misses a melee attack against you, you can use your reaction to make an opportunity attack against that creature.
Monkey Stance
While in this stance, When you use your step of the wind feature to disengage you may also make one melee attack against a creature within 5 feet of you.
Snake Stance
While in this stance, your unarmed strikes gain an additional 5 feet of range.
Tiger Stance
While in this stance, you can add +3 to the damage rolls of unarmed attacks made with your flurry of blows feature
Flowing Stances
You have mastered the ability to change your stance in combat, at the start of your turn you may spend one Ki point to change into a stance that you have learned (no action required).
Beast Within
The training that you have done to shape the Ki inside your body grows stronger granting you the following additional benefits while in your different stances.
Constricting Grip
While in Snake Stance, you gain advantage on ability checks to grapple or maintain grapples on an enemy, you may also use the Acrobatics skill to make these checks.
Dancing on the Wind
While in Crane Stance, when you use your step of the wind feature to dash you gain a flying speed equal to half of your walking speed until the start of your next turn.
Furious Fists
While in Tiger Stance, your unarmed attack rolls score a critical hit on a 19 or a 20.
Monkeys Paw
While in Monkey Stance, you may use your bonus action to spend one Ki point and attempt to disarm a creature within 5 feet of you, the creature must succeed a dexterity saving throw against your Ki save DC or be disarmed.
Precision Strike
While in Mantis Stance, whenever you hit a creature with an opportunity attack they gain disadvantage on the next attack roll they make.
Zone of Clarity
Your training has allowed you to project your Ki to the area around you giving you an awareness of your surroundings that is unparalleled. As an action you can spend 3 Ki points to activate a Zone of Clarity, for the next hour you gain truesight out to a range of 30 feet.
Dragon Form
You learn the secret of the sixth form emulating the powers of dragons. At the start of your turn (no action required) you may enter Dragon form by expending 4 Ki points, this form lasts for 1 minute.(This form can be active along with any of your stances) While in Dragon form you gain the following benefits.
- You gain a +1 to AC and Saving throws.
- When you enter this form, chose a damage type between fire, lightning, poison, acid, or cold, you gain resistance to the type chosen.
- Immunity to the frightened condition
- You can make one additional attack whenever you take the attack action on your turn.
