Base Class: Wizard
A Bog Wizard is any wizard trained in the brewsky style who is also the sort of person who will pick you up from the bar at 3am on a Monday night when classes start again at 7am.
Tools of the Trade
2nd-level Bog Wizard feature
The first order of business for any Bog Wizard is to ensure that their bros are in the drink eternal. Beers are good, but more beers are better. The Bog Wizard gains proficiency with Brewers Supplies and their in-depth training means that the duration of any poisoned condition is halved.
Getting on the Beers
2nd-level Bog Wizard feature
Through extensive training the Bog Wizard knows more than just the words and hand gestures to their spells, they also know how to drunkenly muddle their incantations and clumsily fumble their somatic components. This causes slight variations in their spells that opponents never expect. While poisoned creatures make their saving throws against Bog Wizard spells at disadvantage and the Bog Wizard makes their spell attack with advantage.
Beer Hat
6th-level Bog Wizard feature
In their studies the Bog Wizard has engaged a master crafter to create a custom hat to facilitate inebriation. This hat contains within the precious amber liquids that shall fuel the Bog Wizard for the hard yards to come. As an action the Bog Wizard can draw from within the hat precious beer that once consumed grants the Bog Wizard a delightful buzz and the poisoned condition for 5 rounds (this time is not reduced by the Bog Wizards Tools of the Trade ability). This ability can only be used once per short rest. This hat can also be used as an arcane focus, in fact if the Bog Wizard wants to be taken seriously they must cast through this hat.
Additionally while poisoned the Bog Wizard can use an Action to belch forth a cloud of noxious gas. All creatures in a 30 foot cone from the Bog Wizard must make a Constitution saving throw with a DC equal to the Bog Wizards level + 8 + the Bog Wizards Constitution modifier. On a failed save the creature is poisoned for 1 minute and the area is now difficult terrain due to the sudden appearance of enough chips and dips to fuel a frat party. Using this ability ends the Beer Hat's poisoning effect.
Improved Tools of the Trade
10th-level Bog Wizard feature
At this magnitude of Bog Wizard there is little left that the School of Hard Knocks has not taught the Bog Wizard. They have perfected their trade and are ready to show up that stuffy old Dean. The Bog Wizard doubles their proficiency bonus with Brewers Supplies and the poisoned condition no longer affects them (though they can still become poisoned for the purposes of their other abilities).
Graduation Day
14th-level Bog Wizard feature
At 14th level the Bog Wizard has finally graduated and is ready to set off into the wilder world and smarter and cooler dude. They leave with more than a degree though, they now leave with one of two abilities that they may choose: Majoring in Chemistry or Majoring in Engineering.
Majoring in Chemistry
The Bog Wizards Beer Hat ability can now be used a number of times per Short Rest equal to the Bog Wizard's Intelligence modifier.
Majoring in Engineering
While poisoned the Bog Wizard ignores all damage resistances and immunities with their spells.
