Base Class: Barbarian
Unleash the beast deep within you, rage like a wolf hungry for the hunt.
Unleash the Beast
3rd Level Feature
When you enter your rage, you release the hunger for the hunt that burns within you, transforming yourself into your wolven form.
While in this form, your skin thickens into natural armour, granting a +1 bonus to your AC.
Additionally your hands transform into vicious claws, which can be used as weapons if your hand is empty, dealing 1d6 slashing damage on a hit. Your claws are considered magical for overcoming damage resistances. When you make a weapon attack with your claws, you may make an additional free attack as part of the same attack action.
Crimson Mastery
As a bonus action, or when you enter a rage, you can channel the powerful blood magic that courses through your veins into your weapons: You take 1d6 necrotic damage which cannot be reduced in any way. For the duration your melee weapon attacks become empowered with an elemental magic of your choice of Fire, Cold or Lightning, dealing an additional 1D6 damage of the chosen type. This effect lasts for 10 minutes, until your rage ends, or you die or go unconscious (whichever comes first).
Self inflicted damage and elemental damage granted by this feature increases as you gain levels in this class, D8 at 9th level, D10 at 12th level, and D12 at 14th level.
Howl of the Crimson Hunt
10th level Feature.
At 10th level, you master the ferocity of the beast with you and can unleash a blood boiling howl that can both terrify your enemies and inspire your allies. As an action you can unleash a deep savage howl empowered by your hemocraft. Choose up to 10 creatures within 60ft that can hear you. Allied creatures chosen with this feature gain advantage on attack rolls and saving throws until the end of your next turn. Enemy creatures chosen with this feature must make a wisdom saving throw, becoming frightened of you on a failed save. The save DC for this feature is equal to 8 + your constitution modifier + your strength modifier. A creature frightened this way can repeat the saving throw at the end of its turn.
Additionally, you can channel this ferocity into a threatening aura that may influence others, you may use this feature to gain advantage on Intimidation checks for 1 minute.
Once you use this feature you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
