Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

The shadows give the character an opportunity to make things right. These rogues can morph with the shadows, add potency to attacks, and manipulate shadows to constrain almost anything. As a rogue, sneaking is their forte. Morphing with the shadows essentially makes the character able to teleport at will, and create sneak attacks on enemies. The shadows are a useful tool to this character, as they can imbue themselves and their weapons with the shadows to increase their capabilities in combat.

Shadow Sneak

Starting at 3rd level, you can use the bonus action granted by your Cunning Action to form with the shadows and teleport to a location visible to you within half of your movement speed. Starting at 13th level, this increases to your full movement speed.

Shadow of the Acrobat

Living your life in the shadows, you've learned how to increase your acrobatic abilities.

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain the ability to climb faster than normal; climbing no longer costs you extra movement.

In addition, when you make a running jump, the distance you cover increases by a number of feet equal to your Dexterity modifier.

Shadow's Veil

Starting at 9th level, you have advantage on a Dexterity (Stealth) check if you move no more than half your speed on the same turn. If you are in a dark area with an abundance of shadow, you can gain this advantage. (Whether a room is dark enough to gain this extra ability is up to your game master).

Shadow's Enchantment

By 13th level, you have learned to harness the power of the shadows for your own benefit. You can imbue your weapons with the shadows, making them lighter and more powerful. Attacks with your imbued weapon deal an extra d4 of damage. Any melee weapon imbued is now lighter, allowing you to throw them at an enemy to deal damage. The weapons retain their natural damage as if you used them normally, but lose the Shadow's Enchantment damage modifier. To retrieve the weapon, you can recall it through the shadows at the cost of movement on your next turn.

Shadow's Initiative

When you reach 17th level, you have become adept at laying ambushes and quickly escaping danger. You can take two turns during the first round of any combat. You take your first turn at your normal initiative and your second turn at your initiative minus 10. You can’t use this feature when you are surprised.
