Base Class: Paladin
The White Knight is a knight who works as a defender of a temple dedicated to a deity or something else. They guard temple grounds from intruders or defend the Clerics as they do their work.
Shield of Glory
Once per short rest, you may temporarily increase your Armor Class by 2, maxed out at 18. This can block one hit, and the attacker will take 1d4+2 radiant damage if the attacked you melee. Your AC returns to normal after you are hit by an attack, or it goes away if it hasn't been broken an hour after being used.
Pure Holyness
You have become a very holy knight, and you now have resistance to either radiant or necrotic damage. You also get an increase in intelligence or wisdom.
Overholy
You have resistance to Radiant damage.
Purity
Your body is extra pure, and you have resistance to Necrotic damage.
Soul of the Paladin
Once per long rest, if you are in full health you may expend half your health to gain the following conditions for 1 hour:
- Resistance to slashing, piercing, and bludgeoning damage.
- Immunity to being deafened or blinded.
- Immunity to Necrotic and Radiant damage.
- Immunity to being charmed.
- +3 on any 1 ability check (can be used once)
