Base Class: Bard
The College of Mockery gives a bard the ability to turn utility into attack. His normal abilities are changed and twisted to hurt rather than help others. Often, Bards who take the College of Mockery are spiteful people. Other times, they wish to prove the saying, "Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me," wrong. This College still has utility abilities, but has attack abilities as well. The problem is, these abilities come at a price.
Words That Hurt
You gain spells that use words as weapons. This grants 4 spells. Words are the Bard's greatest weapons.
Bardic Mockery
You can mock others through mean words or music. To do so, you use a bonus action on your turn to choose one creature other than yourself within 60 feet of you who can hear you. That creature gains one Bardic Mockery die, a d6.
Once within the next 10 minutes, you can roll the die and subtract the number rolled from one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw it makes. You can wait until after it rolls the d20 before deciding to use the Bardic Mockery die, but you must decide before the DM says whether the roll succeeds or fails. Once the Bardic Mockery die is rolled, it is lost. A creature can have only one Bardic Mockery die at a time.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (a minimum of once). You regain any expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Your Bardic Inspiration die changes when you reach certain levels in this class. The die becomes a d8 at 5th level, a d10 at 10th level, and a d12 at 15th level.
Flustering Insult
You have prepared a repertoire of insults that you can spout as an action at any one creature. Sometimes the insult you choose gets a reaction, sometimes nothing happens, and sometimes they become flustered.
