Base Class: Monk
Monks of this monastery have observed and revered the beauty, elegance, and power of the Phoenix. Through this dedication they learn to enhance their agility and power while channeling fire. Witnessing a monk of this order fight is witnessing grace itself.
Phoenix Stance
At 3rd level, as a bonus action, you may spend 2 ki points to enter a specialized stance for a number of rounds equal to your proficiency bonus + wisdom mod. While in this stance, your movement speed increases by 10ft, you gain resistance to fire damage, your armor class increases by your proficiency bonus, and you can use the step of the wind feature without spending ki. When you enter this state you may also use step of the wind without spending a ki point as a part of the same bonus action.
You can enter this stance a number of times per short rest equal to half your proficiency (round up)
Blazing strike
At 6th level, whenever you hit a creature with an unarmed strike or monk weapon, you may spend a kit point to imbue your attack with fiery energy. The target takes an extra martial arts die of fire damage and must make a con save or be set on fire, taking a martial arts die of fire damage at the start of each of its turns for a minute or until it or another creature uses an action to put it out.
Furthermore, if you make a blazing strike, you may immediately use your reaction to move up to your speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
Phoenix's Flight
At 11 level, when you use your Step of the Wind, you can create spectral wings of flame from your back that vanish at the end of your turn. While the wings exist, you have a flying speed equal to your walking speed and your attacks with unarmed strikes or monk weapons deal an additional martial arts die of fire damage
Blazing Rebirth
At 17th level, if you are reduced to 0 hit points, but not killed outright, you are returned to your feet and restore half your hit points. Furthermore a burst of flames emanates from you as you revive, each creature within 20ft must make a dex save or take fire damage equal to an amount of martial arts die equal to your wisdom mod or half as much on a success.
Once you use this feature, you must complete a long rest before using it again.
