Base Class: Bard
The College of Ventriloquism is an expert of puppetry, a maker of marionettes, thrower of voices; this college is extremely versatile.
Through the use of Woodcarver's tools, you will learn to create a magical marionette, forging a connection with your creation by imbuing a bit of your soul within it.
You can toss your voice around rooms to entertain the masses and confuse your enemies.
All the world's a stage, and some were born to perform. You, however, are born to perform by proxy; by proxy of a marionette.
Voice of the Ventriloquist
As a master of ventriloquism, you have learned to not only imitate but also to throw your voice. As an action, you can cause your voice to "leap" to any location within 30 feet of you. You can also do so without perceivably moving your mouth. A creature can make a Perception check against your Performance check to determine the voices true location.
No Strings on Me
Having gained more control over your own body, you now have advantage on checks against being restrained.
Mystic Marionette
When taking this subclass at level 3, you gain proficiency with Woodcarvers tool, also you have learned to create a Mystic Marionette.
The Marionette counts as a small creature and can appear as any shaped creature desired.
By expanding one use of Bardic Inspiration, the Marionette can be summoned in an unoccupied space you can see within 30 feet for up to 1 hour.
The Marionette has a movement of 30 ft and can hover. It has an AC of 10 + your CHA modifier, and 20+ your Bard Level HP.
While withing 100 ft, as a bonus action, you can command the Marionette to move up to its speed and attack. The Marionette uses your spell attack modifier (CHA + Proficiency) and deals 1d6 + CHA modifier bludgeoning damage. (The damage dice will increase as your Bardic Inspiration dice increases)
You can also cast spells through the Marionette, as if casting in its place, as well as causing your voice to come from the Marionette's mouth. As an action you can use your senses through the Marionette, hearing or seeing what it hears. While doing this, your own body is blinded and deafened.
You can heal your Marionette with a Mending cantrip, 1d6 + your CHA modifier healing. If your Marionette is destroyed, you can make a new one in an hour with your Woodcarver's tools.

Puppetry
You have gained the use of magical puppet strings that can extend from your fingertips, your Woodcarver's tools, or another Arcane focus.
As a bonus action on your turn, by expanding a use of Bardic Inspiration, your strings attach to a number willing creatures within 30 ft of you equal to your CHA modifier, allowing you to control their body momentarily. This can either be used to move the creature up to 30 feet in any direction you chose (this can be vertical), or to cause them to make a single melee attack against a creature within 5 ft of them.
Puppet Master
At level 14 you learn the Compulsion spell and can cast it without expanding a spell slot once per long rest.
You can now use your Puppet Strings to effect your enemies. As a bonus action, by expanding a use of Bardic Inspiration you can attach your strings to a number of hostile creatures within 30 ft of you equal to your CHA modifier (minimum of 1), and they must make a CON save against your Spell Save DC. On a fail, they must immediately either move up to their speed in a direction you choose (this can be vertical), OR make a melee attack against another hostile creature within 5 ft of them.
