Bard
Base Class: Bard

Harpies. Sirens. Mermaids. There’s plenty of creatures that sing unsuspecting passerby to their doom. Why not join them? The Pied Piper can vouch for their effectiveness.

Monstrous Melody

At 3rd level, you can expend a use of your Bardic Inspiration as an action to begin singing an alluring melody. Creatures within 30 feet that can hear you must make a Wisdom saving throw or be charmed for 1 minute.

Creatures charmed by your Monstrous Melody can repeat this saving throw at the end of each of their turns. On a successful save, the effect ends, and the creature becomes immune to your Monstrous Melody for 24 hours. A creature has advantage on this save if it is over 30 feet away from you, or if you or your allies are in combat with it or its allies.

While a creature is charmed in this way, you can force it to spend its full movement move towards yourself, away from yourself, or stay where it is instead of moving on its turn (no action required).

Petty Playthings

At 6th level, you can tug more tightly on the strings of your puppets. As an action, you can take total and precise control of a creature charmed by you or affected by a spell that you are concentrating on. Until the end of your next turn, the creature takes only the actions you choose, and doesn’t do anything that you don’t allow it to do. During this time, you can also cause the creature to use a reaction, but this requires you to use your own reaction as well. At the end of the creature’s turn, it can make a saving throw against your Bard spell save DC with advantage, ending the effect on a success.

Bewitching Defenses

At 14th level, you learn to apply the allure of enemies to inspire your own song. You are immune to being charmed. In addition, when a creature within 30 feet of yourself would be charmed, you can use your reaction to suppress the effect and begin singing your Monstrous Melody without expending a use of your Bardic Inspiration.
