Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

You are a warlock who has dedicated their life to Sieglinde Jilargo, former queen regnant of the Kingdom of Jilargo. She projected an air of complete kindness, but was cruel to the bone. She held an utmost hatred for any life that was not human, having been born into a family that had ruled the country for centuries. The royal family had created a religion serving "Baalhūt", a fish that allegedly held Jilargo out of the sea. Its followers believed in the faith, but it was all a farce manufactured through science and research. Sieglinde had let things get to her head and believed she was Baalhūt, fusing with the magical core that her family had carefully crafted. Slaughtered by a traveling group of revolutionaries, Sieglinde's death caused an explosion that ripped space and time asunder, causing magical side effects to plague the world.

You have dedicated your life to serving Sieglinde. Her charismatic qualities have wowed you to the core, and you either acknowledge her shortcomings or flat-out ignore them. Regardless, you hold her in high regard and are willing to continue her plans to fix the world. But it won't be easy; many people revile Sieglinde. In order to remedy the natural hatred you attract, you disguise yourself as a Paladin of Bahamut, but we both know the truth.

The day will come when your loyalty will be tested. Are you loyal to Sieglinde, or to your friends?

Blood of Aurum

The avatar of Baalhūt, in fiction, was stated to have blood of ichor. They bled pure gold and were only made stronger through injury. As a warlock of Sieglinde-Baalhūt, you have assumed a very similar nature. When you first get cut, you will bleed golden for the first minute. You can take this opportunity to consume your own ichor and benefit from your auto-vampirism. Once per long rest, you can drink your blood and enjoy a bonus to Attack rolls for the next minute (10 rounds). Your bonus is increased at a later level.

Vedette From On High

While the bat is hidden on your person, you gain tremorsense with a range of 30 feet. If ever perched on your shoulder, the bat can’t be targeted by any opposing adversary. Only you can cast spells on it, and healing spells damage it (and damage spells heal it).

You can hear what the bat hears while it is within 100 feet of you.

The bat doesn’t require sleep. While it is within 100 feet of you, it can awaken you from sleep as a bonus action.

The bat vanishes when either it or you die.

At the end of a long rest, you can call offer a plea to Sieglinde-Baalhūt to guide the bat back to you—no matter where it is or whether it died—and it reappears within 5 feet of you.

Aegis of Opulence

With Sieglinde-Baalhūt being the wind at your back, you have very little to fear. You can reroll failed saving throws twice per long rest and are now always immune to the frightened condition.

Empyrean Heaven

You can cast Empyrean Heaven as an action. The attack lets loose a wave that requires all hostile creatures to make a DC 20 DEX check. After using it, you are exhausted and cannot attack for your next turn. You can move and dodge, but not attack. You also have the ability to cast Empyrean Elysium at level 20.
