Base Class: Blood Hunter

The Crimson Duelist is a Blood Hunter who specializes in fighting with two weapons, focusing on quick strikes and swift movements. They are often found in urban environments, where they use their speed and agility to navigate through crowds and strike at their enemies with precision.

Crimson Rite: Twin Fangs

At 3rd level, when you choose this subclass, you gain the ability to infuse your weapons with a special Crimson Rite called Twin Fangs. When you activate this rite, both of your weapons become infused with your Blood Hunter magic, dealing additional damage equal to your Crimson Rite damage die on each hit. Additionally, you gain advantage on all attack rolls you make with your weapons until the end of your turn.

Blade Dance

Starting at 3rd level, you gain the ability to quickly move across the battlefield, dodging enemy attacks and striking back with your weapons. As a bonus action, you can take the Dash or Disengage action, and when you do so, you can make one melee weapon attack with each of your weapons.

Dual Wielder

At 7th level, you gain the Dual Wielder feat, even if you do not meet the prerequisites. Additionally, you can draw or stow two weapons at the same time.

Crimson Rite: Dancing Blade

At 11th level, you gain access to a new Crimson Rite called Dancing Blades. When you activate this rite, you gain an extra attack with each of your weapons on your turn. Additionally, if you hit the same target with both attacks, you can choose to use your bonus action to make another attack with one of your weapons.

Crimson Rite: Blood Dance

At 15th level, you gain access to a powerful Crimson Rite called Blood Dance. When you activate this rite, you gain the following benefits:

  • Your movement speed increases by 10 feet.
  • You can move through difficult terrain without penalty.
  • You can move through spaces occupied by other creatures, though you cannot end your turn in such a space.
  • Whenever you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you regain hit points equal to one third of your Blood Hunter level.

Master Duelist

At 18th level, you have become a true master of the dual-wielding style. You gain the following benefits:

  • You can make a third attack with your off-hand weapon as part of the Attack action.
  • Whenever you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack with your off-hand weapon against the same creature.
  • You can use Blade Dance as a free action, without using your bonus action.
