Base Class: Sorcerer
Your innate magic comes from the abuse of certain alchemically altered brews that people has been using for centuries. Drinks such as coffee, tea, or even magical brews like potions of haste, have altered people genetically with a craving for quickness and a ceaseless nervousness. Many caffeinated sorcerers come from lineages where several members of their family were gifted wizards that, in their youth, used these substances to boost their energy, allowing them to keep advancing on their studies while others slept.
Your powers may allow you to be a vigorous adventurer that is full of energy regardless of the physical fatigue or sleep deprivation. Perhaps you are a person able to come up with great decisions in the most anxious and stressful moments.
Restless Mind-body
Starting at 1st level, you require fewer hours of sleep than most people due to your intrinsic nervousness. You can complete a short rest by resting at least for 30 minutes, and you only require at least six hours of sleep to complete a long rest. Additionally, you gain proficiency in the Perception Skill.
Deadline Panic
At 6th level, you excel at multitasking to overcome fear of possible negative outcomes, in case one of them fails. When you use your action to cast a spell of 1st level or higher with a casting time of an action, you can cast a cantrip as part of the same action. The cantrip must target the same creature as the spell did, and it must be within the cantrip's range.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Caffeine Rush
Beginning at 14th level, you can take one additional action in combat. In doing so, you can use your reaction to move up to half your speed immediately after, and you also gain advantage on Constitution saving throws to maintain concentration on spells until the start of your next turn.
Once you use one of this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest, unless you spend 6 sorcery points to use it again. With every consecutive use of this feature, you must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC equal to your spell save DC) or take one level of exhaustion. You can benefit from this feature only once per turn, and up to maximum of 5 uses per day.
Infused Determination
At 18th level, you have mastered the art of fully immersing yourself into different tasks at the same time. You can maintain concentration on two spells simultaneously for an amount of rounds equal to your proficiency bonus. When you roll a saving throw to maintain concentration, you roll only once. On a fail save, or if you run out of rounds, you only drop concentration on the latest spell you were concentrating on.
You can use this feature twice, and you can't do so again until you finish a long rest.
