You focus your study on controlling and understanding all the intricacies of magic to control the power flowing through you, allowing you to redistribute it at will, and use it with the utmost freedom. Arch-Mages are committed to mastering all the intricacies of magic, allowing them to have seemingly unlimited magic or unleash all their power in a great torrent. Most Arch-Mages spend their lives honing their skills and shorter-lived races are not oft found in this niche school of magic.

Venerable Knowledge

Beginning when you select this school at 2nd level, you learn all spells at and up to your highest spell slot within the wizard spell set.

Arch-Magic

Beginning at 2nd level, you gain full control over the magic in your body. You can switch all of your magical abilities between spell slots at will. You can use the wizards preset spell allocation or convert all your magic into one level of spell slots. (consult Arch-Wizard Spell Slot Allocation Table)

 

Arcane Restoration

Starting at 6th level, your mastery of magic has grown to the point where you can draw magic from within yourself, allowing you to outlast other spell casters and recast your most powerful spells. You can use Arcane Recovery as an action with no maximum level. You Also regain spell slots cumulative to your level instead of half.

Arcane Mastery

Beginning at 10th level, you can use Arch-Magic at will and recovers on a short rest.

Arch-Wizardry

Starting at 14th level, you can draw upon your very life force to power your magic. You can now use arcane recovery without any charges. If you have already used arcane recovery you can choose to take 1d12 necrotic damage per level of the spell slot recovered. This damage ignores resistance and immunity.
