Base Class: Wizard

Most spellcasters tend to rely on sight, but those who study Audentia rely on sound. Those of this school learn to hear magical resonances in order to discern and cast spells. They also learn to tailor their spells to avoid and support their allies.

Audites are rare in the world of magic and tend to closely guard the secrets of their craft; most wouldn’t understand even if an Audite tried to explain anyway.

Sculpt Spells

Beginning at 2nd level, you can create pockets of relative safety within the effects of your evocation spells. When you cast a spell that affects other creatures whose resonance you’ve learned, you can choose a number of them equal to 1 + the spell's level. The chosen creatures automatically succeed on their saving throws against the spell, and they take no damage if they would normally take half damage on a successful save.

Counterspell Modification

Starting at 6th level, you are able to use Counterspell on a target you can hear casting a spell or see magic emanating off of if you are facing their direction.

Silencio

Starting at the 10th level, you can silence a creature until your next turn as an action. The creature must make an Intelligence saving throw against your spell save DC. If the creature fails, they are silenced until your next turn, and any spells that require a verbal component cannot be cast. You regain this ability after a long rest.

Enhance Resonance

Starting at the 14th level, you gain the ability to enhance a creature's resonance.

As a reaction once per short rest, you can choose to turn any creature's attack/spell into a critical hit.
