In culture, the Desert Raider is considered a renegade that often stirs trouble wherever they travel. Due to this, raiders aren't the most well respected members of society, however, they are generally not harassed since they intimidate most people. They also tend to wear a goggles over their eyes to keep the dust out of them from high speed desert riding.

Recleus Rider

You gain a large spider companion that has a natural walk speed of 40ft. While mounted on the spider you roll advantage on attack rolls and your AC is increased by spider's Dexterity modifier. In addition to this, you can spend a bonus action to command the spider directly while riding it.

If you happen to encounter a spider in the wild then the spider will be passive to you and your party unless provoked.

Venom Infusion

At 7th level you gain the ability to infuse your ranged weapon with a powerful poison that has the following effects once per short rest.

  • 1d10 Poison Damage at the beginning of the target's turn for 1d4 rounds
  • Subtract 1d6 from their skill checks for 1d4 rounds
  • Paralyze them for 1 round
  • 2d12 Necrotic Damage 

Targets hit with this venom infusion must make a Constitution saving throw or be subjected to the venom's effect. In addition to this, your spider can use any of the four venom effects when performing attack with its fangs.

Widow's Blood

Poison and necrotic damage, instead of harming you, now heals you by half the damage rolled. In addition to this, if you or your spider use poison and necrotic damage, then it will be considered critical damage and your blood can be used as a material to craft Reaping Poison which deals 2d12 to a target on a failed Constitution save.

Miasma of the Desert

Using a combination of your spider's blood and your own you create a poison flask that, when thrown, unleashes a toxic mist with a range of 20ft. in all directions. Tokens caught in the mist will gain an 1d2 exhaustion levels at the beginning of each turn they spend within it. This flask can be created once per long rest.
