Base Class: Fighter
A warrior who uses thunder and lightning to quickly eliminate their foes.
Storm Training
Starting at 3rd level, you gain some control over the effects of lightning and thunder. When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack from the "attack" action, you can choose to have that creature enter a "Shock State"(no action required). This lasts for one minute. When a creature in "Shock State" takes lightning or thunder damage, you can have them take an additional 1d6 lightning or thunder damage (whichever one the creature took. If they take both kinds of damage from the same attack, you choose which kind of damage is dealt by this ability), and the "Shock State" immediately ends. This damage increases to 2d6 at 7th level, 3d6 at 10th level, 4d6 at 15th level, and 5d6 at 18th level.
You can activate this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Thunderous energy
Also at 3rd level, the storm grants you the ability to conjure lightning. You learn a cantrip that does lightning or thunder damage. If it requires a saving throw, your Spell Save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier, and if it requires a spell attack, your Spell Attack Modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier.
You learn an additional cantrip that does lightning or thunder damage at 7th level, and again at 15th level.
Storm Soul
At 7th level, your soul becomes imbued with storm energy, changing its effect on you and others. You ignore resistance to lightning and thunder damage, and you also gain resistance to lightning and thunder damage.
Wind Focus
At 10th level, you can focus the storm in you to grant you power. Whenever you roll initiative and have no uses of "Shock State" remaining, or whenever you use your second wind feature, you regain one use of "Shock State."
Spark Rush
Also at 10th level, the lightning inside you propels you quickly. Your movement speed increases by 15 feet when you are not wearing heavy armor.
Rupturing Soul
At 15th level, your souls connection to the storm grows to its peak. When you hit a creature who has immunity to lightning or thunder damage, you can instead choose to treat that immunity as a resistance. This resistance is not affected by your "Storm Soul" feature. You also gain immunity to lightning and thunder damage.
Ride The Lightning
At 18th level, you can unleash an incredibly destructive storm-powered slash. As an action, you magically teleport along with any equipment you are wearing or carrying, up to 120 feet away to an unoccupied space you can see. This causes the area to ring with thunder that can be heard up to 300 feet away from your original position. After teleporting, you can make one weapon attack, as part of the action. This attack has advantage, and if it hits the target takes an additional 10d6 lightning or thunder damage (your choice) and is stunned until the end of your next turn, along with the attacks regular effects. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
