Heartbeat Handler

1st-level Love Domain feature

No matter what other functions you may accomplish in your town and your temple, your skills are known as an adept negotiator above all. You gain proficiency in Persuasion.

Additionally, you have a unique ability to understand not words, but the intent of words that are expressed aloud. You comprehend the spoken words of any language you hear.

Lastly, your divine magic allows you to affect emotions easily. You learn the Friends cantrip.

Channel Divinity: Love and Hate

2nd-level Love Domain feature

At 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to cause a creature you can see to succumb to your powers of emotional control. As an action, you choose a creature you can see who can hear you within 50 feet, and that creature must make a Wisdom saving throw at your spell save DC, which it may choose to fail. If it fails, choose one of the following effects:
Devotion. The creature becomes charmed by you and will follow you within 10 feet of you at all times, usually adoringly, and the creature will take action to protect you and protect itself when threatened, but it will obey no other commands, as it only wants to be within 10 feet of you doing nothing but standing in place staring lovingly for the duration. This effect lasts for a number of rounds equal to your Wisdom modifier + your Proficiency Bonus. At the end of each of the creature's turns, it can attempt a Wisdom saving throw at your spell save DC. Success ends the effect.
Fury. You bestow upon the creature the most ferocious known anger. The creature gains one use of Rage, as the Barbarian class feature, as if they were a Barbarian of their character level. If, within a number of rounds equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum 1), the creature does not use it, they act angrily for that duration, but not beyond their own willpower to control their temper. After that time, the instance of Rage is lost and the effect ends.
Hatred. The creature experiences utter hatred and terrible wrath against any other creature you choose. On its action, the creature will attack another creature within it's line of sight and take every available action to advance on it and destroy it, every attack a fatal one, if possible. Its attacks deal +1 damage in this state. The effect lasts for a number of rounds equal to your Wisdom modifier + your Proficiency Bonus. At the end of each of the creature's turns, it can attempt a Wisdom saving throw at your spell save DC. Success ends the effect.

You gain proficiency in Insight. Additionally, you double your Proficiency Bonus with all Persuasion checks. Lastly, if you are attempting to convince two creatures to meet for the first time with the intent to create a lasting relationship between those two creatures, you may make a Persuasion check DC 15 as an action, and if successful, each of those persons has a friendly attitude to you and to each other, as long as all three of you share a language. You may attempt this check one time upon the first meeting of the creatures involved.

Love Conquers All

You must finish a long rest before you can cast it this way again.

Additionally, creatures who are charmed by you have disadvantage on saving throws to end that effect on themselves.

Lastly, for a total number of your turns equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum 1), you are able to affect creatures who are immune to the charmed condition with spells and effects that inflict the charmed condition. These turns do not have to be consecutive, and can be expended with different spells or effects as you choose. At the end of the last turn of this duration, you may not affect such creatures again until you finish a long rest.
