Base Class: Barbarian
There are legends and stories of warriors using bows, crosbows and even black powder based weapons achieving incredible at impressive distances.
The precise aim, the calculations necessary to ensure every hit is lethal.
Their equipment is polished and maintained with utmost care.
Bunch of pansies.
What is the challenge in aiming a boom stick at somone? Making sure you're holding it the right way? Pathetic.
But not you, your attacks come from pure, raw and unfiltered physical strength.
Everything that is not nailed to the ground is a potential wepon.
Well, also anything that is nailed to the ground, but you can lift anyway.
"People who use guns are pathetic. I just throw bullets real fast."
- Fezzik, the Giant
Improvised Ammo
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you can use every single thing that exists as a weapon.
Including, but not limited to: Rocks, branches, corpses, vases, paintings, chairs, bullets, mugs, ball bearings, puppies and the gnome rogue.
Do keep in mind you can't guarantee that whatever you use will be in good condition (or alive) when you finish.
You are proficient with improvised weapons, and regardless of their likeness to a weapon they deal a minimum of 1d6 damage.
This damage die increases as you gain levels in this class, turning into 1d8 at the 5th level and 1d10 at the 11th level.
Cannon Power
When using your rage you can show those pompous ranged fighters how to properly attack at a distance.
Using your raw muscle you can ignore common sense (and many physics laws) and throw almost anything you can lift.
When you are raging you gain the following benefits:
- You can add your rage damage bonus to the damage rolls of ranged attacks made by throwing weapons.
- You can treat any weapon as having the throw property having a normal range of 30 feet and a long range of 60 feet. (If the weapon has a throwing range, consider the highest one.)
- Drawing or picking up a weapon is considered part of an attack if you immediatly throw it.
Ranged Retribution
Beginning at 6th level, your rage increases tenfold whenever an lesser ranged combatant tries to attack you.
While you're raging, whenever you take damage from an ranged weapon attack you can make the same courtesy to the attacker, by using a reaction you can throw the projectile back to the creature making a ranged improvised weapon attack.
When you make this attack your you fuel the throw with every bit of your rage, so you can ignore normal and long range limitations, the attack is considered to have unlimited normal range.
Buckshot
Beginning at 10th level, you can use your action to cover an area with a single throw, making every puny creature dodge or face your strenght.
When you do so, choose a point, that you can see, within 30 feet of you, every creature that is withing a 5 ft readius sphere around that point must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier) taking 2d8 + your strength modifier damage on a failure and half the damage on a success.
You can use this action a numbe of times equal to a fifth of your level (rounded down) recovering all uses of it at the end of a long rest.
If you are raging this action counts as an attack for the purpose of keeping your rage going.
You are required to provide enough projectiles to cover the area in order to take this action, such as 10 small rocks or the body of a medium creature.
Superior Retribution
Starting at 14th level, your strenght can even tap into the arcana realm, not even mages with their fancy tricks can stand up to you.
When you take damage from a ranged attack, you can use your reaction to make a ranged improvised weapon attack against any creture you can see.
You throw the projectile (or magical energy or whatever they dared to hit you with) at a creature, the damage dealt is of the same type as the triggering attack.
Aditionally while you are raging you have resistance against damage from any ranged attacks.
