Base Class: Bard
While many bards act as subtle manipulators of minds and heartstrings, others believe the best solution to any problem is a wall of hot sound. As such, the College of Thunder is a raucous and decidedly LOUD place to study, but the benefits are hard to ignore. Graduates (known as Thunderers) devote themselves to squeezing every last decibel out of their instruments, so they can turn it up to eleven every time.
Power Chord
Whenever you cast a spell, you can choose to deal extra thunder damage in addition to the spell’s usual effects. The damage equals a number of d4s equal to the level of the spell slot expended. If a saving throw is required, damage is applied after the saving throw and halved or negated on a pass (depending on the individual spell’s description), but before any other effects (e.g. sleep). Using this feature creates loud noise.
Power Stance
Sometimes you just have to strike a pose. As a bonus action you can enter Power Stance if you are not prone or incapacitated. While in this stance, your spell attacks have advantage and saving throws made against your spells are made at disadvantage. However, your grandstanding makes you vulnerable to attack; attacks against you have advantage while in this stance. If the stance ends, attacks against you continue to have advantage until the start of your next turn. The stance ends if you spend any movement or suffer forced movement from any source.
Encore!
When you are reduced to 0 hit points, you let out a concussive blast of thunder and pop back up with 1 hit point. Creatures within 5 feet of you must make a Constitution saving throw or take 4d6 thunder damage. You can use this ability a number of times per long rest equal to half your Charisma modifier (rounded down).
