Base Class: Barbarian
Whether it be by purposeful design or freak accident, Barbarians of this path are connected to a plane of higher thought or position in the multiverse; or a similar cosmic thread. Unlike traditional warriors of this class, this path is not defined by the wrath or fury one might associate with Rage. The rage of the Fractured is more akin to the silent devastation constantly enacted by the universe. Barbarians of this path are not bombs, or raging storms, or monsters of the battle.
Barbarians of this path are as an asteroid moving in silence across the galaxy, the singularity waiting to consume, and the all-consuming nuclear pulse of a collapsing star.
Temporal Disturbance
At 3rd level, you gain a protective barrier as time and space is warped around your body.
You can improve your own defense and lessen the efficiency of your foes' attacks. While raging, your CON mod is added to your AC, and subtracted from any attack rolls made against you.
Additionally, you are able enhance this effect through exertion of will. Once per long rest, you can Amplify this barrier.
Amplifying your defense allows to you choose one of two effects.
1. The feature's AC bonus is now doubled until the start of your next turn.
2. The next attack that targets only you will automatically hit you, but after taking the damage the blow is reflected through distorted space and hits the attacker for double the same type of damage.
The Law of Equivalent Exchange
At 6th level, when a creature hits you with a melee attack they are met with a return of kinetic energy.
Whenever you are struck with a melee attack while raging, and the creature is within 5ft, the creature takes Force damage equal to your proficiency bonus.
This is known as Kinetic Return.
Additionally, once per rage you can choose to enhance this effect; instead reflecting the total damage of the attack made against you. Both effects are nullified if the attack causes you to be rendered unconscious or otherwise incapacitated.
Manipulative Density
At 10th level, you are able to willfully alter the properties of density upon your person, as well as objects in your possession.
While raging, you are affected by Maximized Density. This increases your weight by 4x; you are also considered size large when involved in effects such as grapple. However, creatures that are no more than one size larger than you do not have advantage when attempting to make any form of Strength or Athletics check against you.
You are effectively unable to swim while under this effect, sinking to the bottom of any fluid.
Additionally, while under the effects of this feature, your unarmed strikes are enhanced by your new form.
Your unarmed strikes now deal 1d10+ STR or CON modifier.
This unarmed strike is now known as a Neutron Strike, and increases to 1d12 damage at 14th level.
Wrath of the Cosmos
At 14th level, you gain a greater understanding of the movement of energy through matter; allowing you to better manipulate the forces enacted upon you and released from yourself.
While raging, you can choose to store any damage dealt to you instead of returning it as indicated by Kinetic Return, allowing it to pool within yourself. You can store an amount of damage no greater than your total STR and CON score combined. You can then choose to release this energy as a melee attack, or single target ranged attack.
The total damage is equal to double the amount of damage stored. This attack is called Seismic Pinpoint. The type of damage for this attack is Force.
Additionally, you can double your proficiency for INT checks or WIS checks regarding topics/prompts related to Cosmic, Mathematical, or Super-Positional ideas.
