Base Class: Sorcerer
Those who have encountered a power of an archivist, find themselves in worship to certain deities, or encounter freak accidents with magic will soon find that they have been given a strange power. With it one gains the power to capture several entities and use them in a verity of ways. While not directly powerful their spells are still nothing to scoff at.
Ageless nature
Those of the Archivist soul sorcerers are naturally long living, easily living five times that of their natural lifespan as their body’s natural growth is heavily slowed as to preserve more knowledge.
Chronicle
As an Archivist you gain the ability to petrify living beings, turning them into inanimate objects. The way the objects look can vary from chess pieces, to puppets, and even into drawings on a scroll. These petrified beings can be controlled by the archivist who petrified them, forcing them to do various tasks in their stead. This ability, while powerful can only work on either those who have 10% or less health left, or those who are of a lower level than yourself.
After a number of hours equal to your sorcerer level those petrified will make a constitution saving throw against your spell attack DC and if they succeed they break free from the spell, staying petrified if they fail. The amount of subjects you can have under your control is equal to your proficiency bonus. The amount of times this spell can be cast is also equal to your proficiency bonus, requiring a long rest every to recharge
Magical Prowess
Starting at 6th level, when you cast a spell you can add your charisma modifier to one damage roll of that spell. At the same time you can spend one sorcery point to gain resistance to one specific magical damage type for 1 hour.
Magical Accession
At 14th level by using the magical power that resides deep within yourself you are able to fly within a three dimensional space equal to your walking speed. This can be done as a bonus action and causes the clothes you wear and the hair on your body to float around as if it was in a breeze.
Magical overload
At 18th level as a bonus action you can channel the power of the Archivist magic flowing through your veins to not only double the amount of subjects you can have chronicled but the duration that they are chronicled, and the amount of times you can use it as well. However, this costs 10 sorcery points and fades once you use chronicle on another being afterwards or once they are able to make a constitution saving throw on escaping.
