Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

They say the gods weave a tapestry of all things that were, are, or will ever be. This is the Divine Weave, and some say its gossamer threads can be torn by even the smallest decision, but many believe it's not so simple as that. It can be impossible to tell just what was meant to happen and what defies the Divine Weave.

It is said that, ever so rarely, the Divine Weave grants power to some individuals in an attempt to correct certain aberrations. You are one of these people. Perhaps you agreed to this to change your fate or that of someone else. Instead, you might not know why you agreed, as if fate itself pushed you into it.

Probability Wellspring

Starting at 1st level, you are able to use your connection to the forces of fate to affect the outcome to the actions of those around you. You gain a pool of Probability Dice that equals your Charisma modifier + your proficiency bonus. As a reaction, you can add the result of a d6 roll to an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw for an ally within 30 feet. In addition, you can force an enemy to make a Charisma saving throw against your spell save DC or subtract the result of your Probability Dice roll from the result of their attack roll, ability check, or saving throw. These uses are regained on a long rest.

When you reach certain levels in this class, the size of your Probability Dice increases: at 5th level (d8), at 11th level (d10), and at 17th level (d12).

Pain of Fate

At 6th level, you can channel dark power from your patron to empower your attacks and spells. Once on each of your turns, when you hit a creature with an attack, you can expend one of your Probability Dice and add the result to the results of your damage roll.

Inconceivable Channeling

At 10th level, you learn to redirect magical energy by converting the power to restore your pool of Probability Dice. When a friendly creature you can see within 30 feet of you takes acid, cold, fire, lighting, or thunder damage, you can use your reaction to take the damage instead. You halve the damage you take as your probability wellspring absorbs some of the magical energy. For every 10 damage prevented in this way, you regain one expended Probability Die. You can't regain more than half your maximum Probability Dice from this feature. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Favored Soul

Starting at 14th level, your very presence spins probability. When a creature you can see within 60 feet makes an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw with advantage, you can use your reaction to force the creature to make a Charisma saving throw against your spell DC. On a failed save, the creature has disadvantage on that roll, and you have advantage on one d20 roll of your choice within the next minute. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
