Base Class: Barbarian
Outlined against the dawn star sun, 100 warriors rose over a hills crest to take in what would soon be a field drenched crimson. Bearing no armor save shield-like hats, and carrying only a spear twice their height. Gazing down unto an army countless strong, their eyes gleaming through wood carved snarling masks. The Lanceam readied their pikes and began the charge; by the time the noonday sun shined down its blinding light on the valley, 100 lanceam stood amidst a sea of corpses.
Lanceam training
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you can wield a shield and a pike at the same time. This may be visualized as wearing a large brimmed wooden hat, perhaps with some metal reinforcement. Additionally, when you rage your base movement speed is doubled for the duration of your rage.
Fearless combatant
Beginning at 6th level, you are permanently immune to the frightened condition. When a creature attempts to frighten you while you are raging, you gain advantage on attacks against it for the next minute. At 10th level, you gain advantage for 3 minutes, and at 14th level you gain advantage for 5 minutes.
Also, you gain a bonus to attack rolls equivalent to your proficiency modifier when in combat with the following quantity of monsters:
CR 0-5: 20+
CR 6-10: 15+
CR 11-15: 10+
CR 16-19: 5+
CR 20: 1+
Extensive training
At 10th level, you are now ever more adept in the use of your pike. When you make a melee attack with your pike while in rage, you can choose to make a second attack as a free action. Furthermore, if you move a minimum of 15 feet before making a melee attack while in rage, that attack deals maximum damage; and impales your target causing them to be grappled until the end of your next turn.
Expert Craftsmanship
Additionally at 10th level, you gain the ability to create your own pikes. Once per long rest you can spend 4 hours creating one of the following pikes. These pikes are used with disadvantage by any creature which is not you
Long-Pike: You make attacks with this pike at 15 feet of reach, and only need to move a minimum of 10 feet to impale a creature. However, such length compromises the weapons strength, causing attacks with this pike to deal 1d8 piercing
Cleave Type: When making an attack with this pike, you can choose between dealing piercing or slashing damage. A number of times per short rest equal to your proficiency modifier, you can choose to make a wide sweeping attack dealing 2d10 slashing damage to all creatures within a 10 foot radius sphere centered on yourself; this can be paired with the second attack gained from your Extensive Training feature.
Heavy Pike: Attacks with this pike deal 1d12 piercing damage, and when you impale a creature with this pike they are restrained for 5 rounds.
Light Pike: This pike has the thrown(60/120) property, and when wielding it you can make 3 attacks with your Extensive Training feature, rather than 2.
Unyielding
At 14th level, your ferocity and conviction cannot be repelled. A creature cannot force your movement unless you are incapacitated. Furthermore, a number of times per short rest equal to half your level rounded down, when you take slashing, bludgeoning, or piercing damage you can use your reaction to grant yourself immunity against that instance of damage.
Furthermore, your movement does not provoke opportunity attacks, and no creature has advantage on attacks against you while you are not incapacitated.
