Way of Chaos

Rejected from your monastery for your questionable use of Ki and refusal to accept ancient traditions, you are an outcast with great power. By manipulating Ki and pushing it to its very limits, you have gained the ability to use it to cast spells at the expense of the lawful flow of Ki. Whether this chaos and change is good for the world at large or if it could lead to the end of reality is unknown, though it is obvious that this Ki manipulation is far more powerful than the traditional ways that Monks have used Ki. Many monks that have chosen the Way of Chaos follow very polarized paths, with some becoming great leaders and some becoming tyrannical villains. Some have even created their own monasteries devoted to studying this newfound power of Ki, though these are often raided by traditional Monks who believe that the Way of Chaos is evil and will destroy the world.

Ki Spellcasting

Your mastery of the new powers of Ki allows you to transform Ki points into spell slots and spell slots into Ki points.

Ki Armor

You have discovered how to simultaneously wear armor and use Ki powers at the same time by using your own life force. You gain proficiency in all armor types, and your Unarmored Movement abilities are not affected, at the cost of losing 5 permanent hitpoints.

Ki Construction

You may make a wisdom check to infuse a dead creature you see with Ki energy, spending X amount of Ki points depending on the size of the creature. Small creatures require 1 point, medium creatures require 2, and large creatures require 3. It comes alive as an Undead creature under your control with half of its original hit points and all of its attacks.

Spirit Weaponry

You have learned to channel Ki through weaponry. You may spend 6 Ki points to turn any weapon into a Monk weapon. You are limited to one use of this per long rest.

Ki Master

You have discovered the relation between life and Ki. You may expend 5 hitpoints at any time to regain 1 Ki point.

Spellcasting

You may cast spells.
