Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

You were born with the Natural ability to cast potent elemental magic, but instead of conforming to society's expectations, you decided to follow your own twisted heart. Hags are sorcerers who spend their time learning potent magic through dark curses and brewing potions from plants and creatures. Generally considered evil creatures for their crooked deeds, many hags are actually just self serving and act on their own accord. They spend their days brewing ghastly potions with whatever is at hand and using their dark magic to curse whoever and whatever does them wrong.

Hag's brewing

As a Hag you have spent much of your time crafting potions using all kinds of ingredients that you found laying around your home. Starting at 1st level when you take this subclass you gain proficiency in alchemist's supplies. Additionally, when you hit 9th level, you have grown accustomed to using your tools and whenever you make a check using your Alchemy supplies, you can choose to do it with advantage.

Hag's cauldron

As a hag you are used to brewing with anything you have on hand. At 1st level when you take this subclass you can use 3 days of rations to attempt to brew a Hag's potion. Make a DC15 check using your constitution and your alchemist's supplies, on a success, you brew a Hag's potion that restores your Constitution modifier plus double your proficiency bonus in health. On a failed check, the potion fails. The rations are consumed by the effort regardless of the outcome, and the Hag's potion has a value of 25gp (Ask DM for more campaign specific prices). You can only attempt to make a Hag's potion once per long rest.

A DM can rule that a failed hags potion can still be used as a poison or even have a random effect. Speak with your DM about what would fit with your character as well as the campaign.

Hag's spells

Starting at 1st level, as a hag you also have access to the following spells. More will be added as you take levels in this class.

Hag's focus

Starting at 6th level your innate talent for magic allows you to ignore the strains of casting. Whenever you cast a spell that causes the charmed effect, or has the word curse in its description, you can spend 4 sorcery points to remove the concentration requirement from the spell, if the spell already does not require concentration, its duration is doubled instead. This feature has no effect on the Bestow curse spell when it is cast using a 9th level spell slot.

Extra Casting

Your path as a Hag is progressing quite well and your frightening power is starting to manifest. Starting at 14th level, when you use your action to cast a leveled spell that requires 1 action to cast, exspend 6 sorcery points to cast a second leveled spell that requires an action as part of the same action.

Hag's mist

You have almost reached the pinnacle of what it means to be a true hag. Starting at 18th level you can spend 10 sorcery points as an action to transform yourself into mist of magical force for 10 minutes. While in this form, your size increases to large and can move through other creatures as if through difficult terrain. Also, while in this form you are resistant to all damage except magical force. You can still concentrate on spells cast before using this feature, but cannot cast spells until this effect wears off, you fall unconscious, or you end this effect using a bonus action. While in this form, you can no longer attack but any creature that enters within 5 ft of your mist or starts their turn there, takes 41 (6d10 + your spellcasting modifier) force damage.

Dispel magic can dispel this effect as if this feature was a 9th level spell but the caster must pass the check against your spell save DC and not Dispel magic's given DC. Counterspell has no effect on this feature.
