Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

Also known as a Bokor by some, they are priests for hire that serve the Loa, while practicing  magic with both hands - right hand and left hand path magic. Using their own life blood  to enhance healing spells, while also cursing and hexing their enemies. As they gain knowledge from the Loa, they willeventually be able to control the undead, whether or not it will be of their own benefit. 

Spirit's Favor

You have advantage against charm affects, and you may add your WIS modifier to Persuasion checks.

Voodoo Weaponry

At 1st level, the spirits has gifted the priest or priestess with a throwing weapon built from the shadows of the other side. This weapon may be thrown, and once it strikes the target, it disappears back through the veil and will allow the individual to summon another in their hand.

This weapon has the properties of a spear, but uses your spell attack bonus instead of your weapon attack bonuses. The weapon also causes necrotic damage, rather than piercing

Channel Divinity: Shifting Mojo

At second level, you can declare a specific ability score, for one minute you emit a 20ft aura that grants allies advantage on saving throws rolled for that ability. Alternatively, the aura you create can give disadvantage to the designated saving throws made by enemies.

Gris - Gris Defense

You can spend 10 min during a long or short rest to construct a Gris - Gris that last until your next long rest. When creating a Gris - Gris you must choose two damage types, and one creature type.

  • Possible Damage Types: Acid, Cold, Fire, Thunder, Lightning, Poison, Radiant, or Necrotic.
  • Possible Creature Types: Abberation, Celestial, Fey, Fiend, Monstrosity, Undead, or Elemental.

As long as you wear the Gris - Gris you take reduced damage from the two chosen damage types equal to half your cleric level (rounded up) + your proficiency bonus. You also gain +3  against attacks made by your chosen creature type. At level 12 the bonus ac increases by an additional +2. You can choose to give your Gris - Gris to an ally, which will grant them the same effects, but it will expire after 1 hour. Once the Gris - Gris is gifted it cannot be given to a new ally. 

Potent Cantrips

At 8th level, you may add your WIS modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip

Blessings and Curses

At 17th level, When a creature is affectd by an enchantment, or necromancy spell from your cleric spell list with a 1 hour spell duration or less, they also get the following effect:

  • Ally: +2 AC, Skill Checks, Saving Throws
  • Enemy: -2 AC, Skill Checks, Saving Throws

This ability does not function with the use of cantrips, or spells that do not require concentration.
