Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Your bloodline traces back to the astral plane. You wander the world enveloped in an endless dream, not asleep, but not truly awake.

Dream Wander

Starting at level 1, you are always in a somewhat sleeplike state. While awake, you eyes are always barely open, you move with little purpose, and you speak sleepily, yawning between words. You cannot be magically put to sleep, and you have advantage on saving throws against being charmed.

Psychic Backlash

Starting at level 1, you may channel the psychic winds of the astral plane to punish your enemies. Whenever you fail a saving throw, you may use your reaction to deal psychic damage equal to your charisma modifier to the creature that made you make the saving throw.

Astral Duplication

Starting at level 6, you can summon astral duplicates of yourself to help fend off attacks. You may expend 2 sorcery points to cast mirror image as a bonus action.

Color Channel

Starting at level 14, you may summon a color ray from the astral plane to strike an opponent.  Whenever you hit with a roll to hit spell, you may spend 2 sorcery points to deal an extra 5d6 radiant damage. Alternatively, you may expend 4 sorcery points instead to deal this damage, and force the target to make a charisma saving throw. On a failure, the target is transported to another plane, decided by the astral pool table in the DMG. The color of the ray is that corresponding to the plane rolled.

Awakening

Starting at level 18, you can shrug off your sleeplike state to achieve your full power. As an action, you can expend 6 sorcery points. Each creature of your choice in 60 ft must make an intelligence saving throw, or take 5d10 psychic damage and 5d10 radiant damage, or half as much on a success. For the next minute, or until you are incapacitated or die, you have advantage on all saving throws, and all saving throws against your spells have disadvantage. Any hostile creature that starts its turn within 30 ft of you take radiant damage equal to your charisma modifier.
