Base Class: Bard
Rumors of an ancient organization of assassin-bards sometimes surface in taverns. Such tales are quickly quelled as foolish romance, of course. If the existence of the secret group to which you belong became common knowledge, your work would be that much harder to accomplish.
Your shadowy organization, known as the Grave Callers, has tasked its members to seek out and slay those who prey on the innocent. Its leaders identify those individuals to you through clever courier drops or magical sendings, marking them indelibly as your targets. You are making the world a world a better place with each undesirable element that you remove, and that knowledge drives you to continue your work. Through your ancient and deadly song, you improve the chances of all other creatures, one death at a time.
Death's Blade
When you join the College of Inevitable Death at 3rd level, you gain the ability to make your weapon attacks magically corrupting to a creature’s soul.
When you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration to deal an extra 2d6 necrotic damage to that target. You can do so only once per round on your turn.
The necrotic damage increases when you reach certain levels in this class, increasing to 3d6 at 5th level, 5d6 at 10th level, and 8d6 at 15th level.
Dirge of Inescapable Doom
Death is inevitable and as a Grave Caller, you make sure your foes know that. You sing melodies of the demise of your enemy, even when they think they avoided your attack, you will drain their life energy.
Starting on 3rd level, as a bonus action, you can spend one use of your Bardic Inspiration to place a deathmark on an enemy who can hear you for up to 10 minutes.
Whenever you miss a creature that has your deathmark, you can use your reaction to deal psychic damage equal to your Bardic Inspiration die + your Charisma modifier and consuming the deathmark.
You can only have one deathmark active at a time.
Extra Attack
Starting at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.
Grave Waltz
Death is coming and you deliver it with grace on every attack, enjoying every little moment.
When you reach 14th level, you gain advantage on attack rolls against creatures with your deathmark.
