Base Class: Monk
The Way of the Time Guardian is a path followed by monks who seek to control time itself. These monks are able to manipulate the flow of time, allowing them to strike with incredible speed and precision, teleport through space, and even slow or freeze time for a single target.
At the core of this path is the ability to manipulate time on a small scale. Monks who follow the Way of the Time Guardians can briefly accelerate their movements, allowing them to strike with lightning-fast speed and avoid incoming attacks with ease. They can also slow down time for a single target, making them appear to move in slow motion while the monk remains at normal speed.
As they progress along this path, monks learn to step outside of time itself, briefly teleporting from one place to another with ease. They can even freeze time for a short period, allowing them to move freely while everything around them is frozen in place. This ability is particularly useful for dodging incoming attacks or escaping dangerous situations.
At higher levels, monks who follow the Way of the Time Guardian become masters of time itself. They can accelerate their movements and actions to an incredible degree, taking multiple actions on each turn and striking at their opponents multiple times in a single round. They can also manipulate time on a larger scale, slowing it down or even rewinding it for short periods.
Temporal Awareness
Starting at 3rd level, you gain the ability to sense the flow of time around you. You gain advantage on all initiative rolls, and you can use your reaction to take an additional turn during the first round of combat.
Chronostrike
At 6th level, you can use your ki to slow down time for a split second, allowing you to strike with incredible speed and accuracy. When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can spend 2 ki point to deal an extra 1d8 force damage pushing the target back 20ft, also halving its movement until the start of your next turn.
Time Warp
At 11th level, you have become a true master of time. You can use your action to enter a state of temporal acceleration, gaining the following benefits for 1 minute:
- Your movement speed is doubled.
- You can take two additional actions on each of your turns. These actions can be used to take the Attack, Dash, Disengage, Dodge, or Use an Object action.
- You have advantage on Dexterity saving throws and can use your reaction to make an additional opportunity attack each round.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
Mind Of Chronos
At 17th level a third eye is opened as the God of the Time 'Chronos' enters your mind giving you unimaginable powers! Roll a d4 to determine its outcome?
1- You can reverse time for up to 1 minute, restoring yourself and up to five creatures you can see within 60 feet to their previous state. This ability can be used to undo damage, restore spell slots and even put a stopper on death
2- You create a duplicate of yourself that lasts for 1 minute. The duplicate has all of your abilities (Except this one) and stats and can act independently. The duplicate uses the same initiative as you and takes its turn directly after yours. At the end of the minute, the duplicate disappears.
3- You create a shield of pure time around yourself that lasts for 1 minute. While the shield is active, you have resistance to all damage other than necrotic.
4- You can create a brief moment in time known as a 'Time Blip'. You can choose up to five creatures within 30 feet of you to be affected by the blip, allowing them to take an additional action on their next turn.
