Base Class: Paladin
The Oath of Creation is taken on by paladins who respect and admire the beauty in artistry and artisanal craft. These devotees seek out and protect great works of various trades and crafts, they defend those artisans from those who would destroy their work, and they often create great works themselves as an expression of their divine calling.
TENETS OF CREATION
Paladins who take this oath hold themselves to these ideals:
Diligence. Good work takes patience and practice. Anything worth creating is worth working hard to achieve.
Respect. Each art and craft is valuable and challenging in its own way. Respect the artisan as well as the works they create.
Innovation. The greatest ideas can come from strange and untapped sources. Seek out new ways of thinking and creating.
The Art Lives On. The works of artisans and craftspersons should live on past their creators, even if only in memory and stories. Above all, defend these works against destruction and defeat any who would seek to quell creativity.
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Creative Force. You can use your Channel Divinity to infuse artisan's tools with divine power. As a bonus action, you may touch an instrument or set of artisans tools to grant a +5 bonus to checks made with those tools for the next 10 minutes.
Divine Perseverance. You can use your Channel Divinity to offer aid to a creative venture. As an action, you may touch a creature who has just failed an ability check using an instrument or set of tools. They may immediately reroll the check adding your proficiency bonus to the result, but they must keep the new roll.
