Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

The desperation for knowing the future has turned the young wizard insane- constantly looking for ways to understand what is within their next steps. It was then that they figured out of a dimension known as 'The Blaze,' where the future is seen within glimpses and flashes along the long gaping lava lake within 'The Blaze.' Obsessed with observing the flashes of the future within the lake, the wizard spends all their time within 'The Blaze' learning of not just the future but the secrets and techniques of connecting to the blaze.

A wizard apart of the order of cascade is created upon learning from a Hellforger (artificer capable of entering 'The Blaze' by will alone) how to enter the said dimension in order to foresee the outcomes of the future. The order of cascade is ones who will do whatever they can to morph the future into something better for the world whether that be something extreme such as ridding of a person or destroying a structure to insure the future continues existing in a stable and healthy manner. One common trait of any wizard apart of the order of cascade is their obsession for knowing the future, the meaning of certain things, and how those certain things will impact the future. An order of cascade wizard gains bonuses to their divination spells along with enhancing their fire spells in order to protect the future not only to what the order desires but truly, what they desire. A majority of wizards that are of the order of cascade are united but there are ones who stray from the rest imposing their own will.

Order of Cascade is pretty similar to the wizard subclass 'School of Divination' but instead, carries different types of abilities essentially taking an unique twist on the subclass. It is a bit powerful though so it's highly recommended to reason with your DM before a session to make sure it's features are allowed.

Magmatic Collision

2nd-level Order of Cascade feature

Your new found passion for staring into the lava lake for it's flashes of the future have showed you something- not quite the future but a way to pull the molten lava from 'The Blaze' into your own dimension through casting fire spells. When a creature is hit by this, an explosion of magma happens abruptly from below them sprouting small sprays of magma and rocks upwards.

  • Your magma dice is 1d4 (1d6 at Lv. 6, 1d8 at Lv.10, 1d10 at Lv.14.) You get a number of these equal to double your Proficiency Bonus and recover all after a long rest.
  • When dealing fire damage with a spell you casted using a spell slot, you may add up to two of your magma dice in damage per creature affected by the spell, while in the process consuming them. When done so, apply the magma dice damage after the fire spell's damage is done. Damage done this way does fire or bludgeoning damage, chosen by you.

Visions of the Grand Lava Lake

2nd-level Order of Cascade feature

Upon taking a long rest, your body becomes lifeless while your soul meditates upon the grand lava lake of 'The Blaze' observing the flashes and images of the future. You don't only just prepare for these moments, but instead carry the ability to change these events dramatically. You are starting to see how time itself runs. It is a system of tunnels all flowing and connecting in unison to continue the flow of time and allowing events to happen within it's direct time. The information of these tunnels of time lays within the molten hot liquid of 'The Blaze.' The Order of Cascade arranges the very likelihood of something happening into essentially a tunnel of time they are able to turn into a splinter of what is supposed to happen by preparing with a grand change. In order to balance the stability of time, the splinters of what happen are planned within 'The Blaze' before hand by offsetting the results of both incoming chances. The school of divination shares an incredibly similar feature, however doesn't share the ability to roll two sets.

  • Roll two sets of 2d20 upon finishing a long rest. Write down the lowest result of the first set and the highest of the second set (Example: 1st Set, 15 and 4- Write down 4. 2nd Set, 7 and 19- Write down 19. Your two numbers are 4 and 19.) You can replace any attack roll, saving throw, or ability check made by you or a creature that you can see with one of these vision rolls. You must choose to do so before the roll, and you can replace a roll in this way only once per turn.

  • Each vision roll can be used only once. When you finish a long rest, you lose any unused vision rolls.

Blasphemy of Knowledge

6th-level Order of Cascade Feature

As more time passes of you learning visions of the future from 'The Blaze', you start to learn more of the blaze connection wise. That maybe it's fountain of knowledge can be spread to others as well or to cohere more clear flashes and visions of the future within the lava lake. While not being able to spread the future, you are able to connect with the great lava lake and reveal info on a creature that is the target of a divination spell, giving you insight into some of their personal info and other factors. The constant exposure to your soul being under the influence to the heat of The Blaze has effected your body, giving you resistance to fire.

  • Gain fire resistance.
  • When casting a divination spell (must be 1st level or higher and consuming a spell slot, choose one target if it affects multiple or is used to gain information on multiple people) that is targeting a creature or giving information on that creature in some way (scrying, locate creature, arcane eye spying on the creature), a red glow appears around the creature highlighting it. Treat the creature as if it's under the effects of the 'Faerie Fire' spell but the effects of it are only visible to you and your teammates. This effect lasts for up to 1 hour and they can't be affected by. When the creature is highlighted, you and your ally are able to know their name, race, if they speak common or a language you know (you don't know the exact languages they know, you just know if they do or not), if generally weaker, equal, or stronger than you (DM can judge this level wise or another way), their age, sexual orientation, and one random fact about him (DM decides this.) You can obviously filter out information you don't want to know.
  • When a creature highlighted the above way makes an attack at you or an ally, you may use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll by identifying short bursts of info to aid in dodging.

Eye of the Blaze

10th-level Order of Cascade feature

You have gained the ability to see into The Blaze simply by closing your eyes. While you may not see exactly the future visions you wait to see during long rests, you see other blocks of information pertaining to the area around you or something else around you. You are able to use these blocks of information in ways to perceive around you. You can choose one of the features below as an action to retain until you get incapacitated or until your short or long rest. You can choose another after the short or long rest but you must only have one of the features and not multiple.

Blindsight. You gain blindsight out to a range of 60 feet.

Flame Scourge. When seeing any flame, you are able to know if it's magical or regular. If it's magical, you can touch it and have the creature who made it become under the effects of 'Blasphemy of Knowledge.' Additionally, you know the location of the creature if it's within 1000 feet of the flame when touching the flame. If you are to take fire damage this way, you may recover up to a  Magma Dice (This can be done once per short or long rest.) You are able to sense any form of fire out to a range of 120 feet. Advantage on saving throws that involve fire such as breath weapon and fire spells.

Battle Data Comprehension. You are able to understand the following details of any creature within 10 feet of sight or under the effects of 'Blasphemy of Knowledge': armor class, class (if any),  means of movement, how much movement they are capable of within a turn, and if casted a spell last turn, you know the name of the spell.

See the Foretold. You will receive a jerk in the back of your head when what the DM regards as a major event or a VERY unfortunate outcome is about to (around a few seconds to a few minutes) take place. You don't know any details of such aside from the fact it enlists under either a major event or a VERY unfortunate outcome.

Grand Vision

14th-level Order of Cascade feature

With the large amount of experience of viewing the Grand Lava Lake, you been noticing that deep within the lake is a vision of important events. Even though you are advanced at what you do, it is still hard to see it but you are able to make out a way to counter it for good.

  •  Gain one more vision dice referred to as the Grand Vision Dice. To roll for this one, roll 3 dice and take one of your choice.

Your soul has become not annoyed but rather welcoming to the heat, as your connection with The Blaze has allowed your body to become immune to fire.
