Elemental Breath

At first level you choose one of four primordial elements from which your patron is grants their power, this choice affects future class features as well. You get benefits depending on the elemental nature of your patron. Starting at 1st level, as a bonus action, you create an aura to protect yourself from harm.

Fire

You surround yourself in raging flame. Until the end of your next turn, you gain resistance to all damage, and if a hostile creature ends its turn within 10 feet of you, it takes fire damage equal to your warlock level + your Charisma modifier.

Water

You surround yourself in a swirling blizzard. Until the end of your next turn, you gain resistance to all damage, and if a hostile creature ends its turn within 10 feet of you, it takes ice damage equal to your warlock level + your Charisma modifier.

Earth

You surround yourself in corrosive acid. Until the end of your next turn, you gain resistance to all damage, and if a hostile creature ends its turn within 10 feet of you, it takes acid damage equal to your warlock level + your Charisma modifier.

Air

You surround yourself in a stormcloud. Until the end of your next turn, you gain resistance to all damage, and if a hostile creature ends its turn within 10 feet of you, it takes lightning damage equal to your warlock level + your Charisma modifier.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Elemental Body

Starting at 6th level, your mortal soul starts to meld with the element which fuels your patron.

Fire

The fire inside you emboldens you, body and soul. You gain resistance to cold and radiant damage.

Water

You become one with the fluidity of the oceans. You gain resistance to fire and bludgeoning damage.

Earth

One with the earth, your skin is like stone. You gain resistance to slashing and piercing damage.

Air

You are charged by the powers of the air and sky. You gain resistance to lightning and thunder damage.

Elemental Soul

Starting at 10th level, you are able to tap into Elemental Chaos. You gain a pool of d8s equal to half your Warlock level (rounded up). Once per turn when you deal damage to a creature, you can spend any amount of those dice to deal extra damage to one of the creatures you hit. Roll the dice you spend and add them together. The damage type you deal with those dice is determined by your patron, fire damage for a fire primordial, cold damage for a water primordial, acid damage for an earth primordial, or lightning damage for an air primordial.

Your pool regains all expended dice when you finish a long rest.

Elemental Sustenance

Starting at 14th level, when you are hit with an attack that matches you patrons element (fire, cold, acid, or lightning) you can use your reaction to reduce the damage to 0 and instead gain temporary hit points equal to your warlock level + your charisma modifier.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
