Base Class: Sorcerer

Blood Mages gain their magic from incredibly potent Blodlines of Wizarding and Sorcerous families. Through many generations they disasociated themselves from single origin point. They combine innate Sorcerous magical affinities and Wizarding proficiencies gained through hard work and studies.

Magical Senses

Starting at 1st level you gain detect magic spell you can cast on will without expending spell slots.

Extended spell list

You learn 5 spells from any spell list; these spells count for you as Sorcerer spells and constitution is your spell casting modifier. You gain them immediately and can cast them via corresponding spell slots or by expending a lower-level spell slot and upcasting the slot using your Blood Magic Surge ability.

Blood Magic Surge

At 3rd level, when casting spell you may upcast it by 1 level, if you do you spend 2 sorcery points and take 1 hit die of damage. You can upcast spells up to level 4.

At 8th level, when casting spell you may upcast it by 2 levels, if you do you spend 4 sorcery points and take 3 hit die of damage. You can upcast spells up to level 7.

At 14th level, when casting spell you may upcast it by 3 levels, if you do you spend 6 sorcery points and take 5 hit die of damage. You can upcast spells up to level 9.

Potent Blood

You may sacrifice your life force to tap into magic of the cosmos and regain sorcery points up to its maximum value. As a bonus action you can roll your hit dice for damage and regain amount of sorcery points equal to half of the dice result rounded down, you can roll an additional hit dice at higher levels, 2 dice at 10th level, 3 dice at 14th level and 4 dice at 18th level.

Extra Curriculum

You learn 2 cantrip from any spell list, this cantrips count for you as Sorcerer spells and constitution is your spell casting modifier; you can use your constitution modifier to add to damage of your cantrips.

Reinforced Body

Magic energy flow through your body and reinforce its durability. You gain +4 to your Constitution Modifier, your constitution maximum is now 24.

Blood Magic Overcharge

You can upcast Damaging spells using your Blood Magic Surge up to 12 level using extra 2 hit dice damage per level above 10th level.

For Each level above 9th, spells gain additional bonuses:

10th level – Spell cannot be countered, nullified, or dispelled.

11th level – Spells target or creatures and objects affected by spell lose all immunities and resistances to spells damage. Saving throws are done at disadvantage.

12th level – When Damaged, target can’t cast spells for one d2 turns including this one.
