Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

You hone your skills around a diverse application of anatomical knowledge. Medics, doctors and back alley surgeons are typically those ascribed to this archetype, but so too often are interrogators and others who would look to use their precise skills to inflict pain. You are an expert at cutting people open and closing them back up, using your discretion on who lives and who dies.

Quick Stitch

Starting at 3rd level, you gain the ability to quickly close up wounds. As a bonus action, choose one willing creature within 5 feet of you and roll your sneak attack dice, add them together, and restore a number of hit points equal to the total.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Physical Examination

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Medicine skill and Herbalism Kit if you don't already have it. Additionally, as a bonus action against a creature you can see, make a Wisdom (Medicine) check against a DC of 15. If you succeed, you gain one of the following benefits:

  • You gain advantage on weapon attacks made against that creature for 1 minute.
  • You learn the Armor Class of that creature.
  • You learn the current hit points of that creature.
  • You learn the immunities/ resistances of that creature, if it has any.
  • You learn what that creature's highest and lowest saving throws are.

Precision Training

By 9th level, your extreme precision makes you more capable at both alleviating and inflicting pain. When you roll a 1 or 2 on your sneak attack die, you can reroll the die and must use the new roll, even if the new roll is a 1 or a 2.

Proper Treatment

Starting at 13th level, you improve your ability to administer care. When you use your Quick Stitch feature you can take 10 minutes instead of an action, and if you do, you instead use the highest number possible for each die. For example, instead of restoring 2d6 hit points to a creature, you restore 12.

Emergency Extraction

When you reach 17th level, you can quickly remove yourself and others from danger. When a creature that you can see is hit with an attack, you can use your reaction to move up to half your speed towards that creature, and if you are within 5 feet of them, they gain the benefits of your Uncanny Dodge feature. Then, if the creature is willing, you can move them and yourself up to half your speed without provoking attacks of opportunity, but you cannot move closer to the source of the attack. If you use this feature for yourself, you can instead move your full speed, but still cannot move closer to the source of the attack.
