Base Class: Barbarian
Spartan Barbarians are warriors who've learned to harness their anger as a tool rather than an emotion to pull strength from. Using their wisdom from fights long-fought and instincts honed over years of battle, the Barbarian's endless violence is only equaled by their patience and prime decision making.
Spartan Rage
As a Spartan, you use your anger as a versatile tool in battle. At 3rd level when you rage, chose one of the following Rage effects to activate as well.
Fury - When you rage, you stow your weapons and call upon a burst of physical strength in your body with pure anger coursing through you. While enraged you gain proficiency with unarmed strikes. Your unarmed strikes deal 1d8 additional bludgeoning damage and push creatures and objects hit by them up to 10ft in any direction.
Your movement speed increases by 15ft and you are unaffected by difficult terrain. Your carrying capacity triples and as an action you can pick up a massive part of the terrain surrounding you (A large boulder from the ground, a giants club, part of a stone wall, etc.) and throw it at a creature within 30ft of you as a bonus action. If the creature is your size or smaller it takes 3d12 bludgeoning damage and must make a dexterity saving throw (DC: Your proficiency bonus + Your Strength Modifier + 8) or be knocked prone. A creature larger than you takes 3d12 damage from the object.
When you grapple a creature, that creature is restrained until they leave the grapple, you can use a grappled creature as an object to toss at another creature using the ability above.
Valor - While enraged, you channel your rage into a refined technique that allows you to recover quickly from attacks. You gain temporary hp equal to twice your barbarian level. While enraged you can take on a defensive stance as a bonus action. If a creature targets you while in this defensive stance you can use your reaction to move up to 10ft and counter them with a devastating melee attack before they can hit you. If you hit the creature with the attack their movement speed reduces to 0 and they cannot roll any more attacks until their turn is over.
Wrath - You channel your anger into a single extremely powerful attack when you rage. After enraging you immediately make a melee attack against a creature in range, the attack deals additional damage equal to twice your barbarian level + your strength score, afterwards your rage ends immediately.
Heavy Armory
At 6th level, you gain proficiency in heavy armor and heavy armor doesn't remove the effects of your rage.
