Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

A sly ambusher who uses their signature poison to take down their marks.

Blackblade

Starting at 3rd level, you learn the recipe for a special poison called Blackblade. During a short or long rest , you can use your poisoner’s kit to brew a number of doses of this poison equal to your proficiency bonus (or half your proficiency bonus rounded up on a short rest) without spending money or resources doing so. These poisons lose their effectiveness at the start of your next short or long rest.

This poison can be applied to a weapon or piece of ammunition before combat or as a Cunning Action. The first time a poisoned weapon or ammunition deals damage, it deals an additional 3d6 poison damage.

Starting at 6th level, when you create a vial of Blackbmade, you can choose for it to deal poison or necrotic damage.

Alchemical Knowledge

You gain proficiency with the Poisoner's kit (or another tool if you're already proficient).

Potent poison

You can spend 1 or more vial of Blackblade to poison a dish, a liquid or any other substance that could get ingested.
If you do so, the first person ingesting the substance will suffer the maximum amount of damage per vial used 12 hours after ingestion.

Additionally, starting at level 9, you manage to increase the potency of your poisons. Someone taking damage from your Blackblade must succeed on a constitution saving throw (DC 8 + {{2*proficiency}} ) or suffer the poisoned condition until the end of your next turn.

Concentrated doom

Starting at 13th level, you can decide to concentrate your Blackblade by applying more than one vial on a weapon. On a successful hit, the target takes 3d6 damage per vial used in this manor.

You also learn how to make the most out of every vial. If you decide not to concentrate the blackblade, and only apply one vial on a weapon, the blackblade does 4d6 damage instead.

The poison within

After experimenting with poisons for so long, you have become accustomed to them.
You gain resistance to poison damage and immunity to the poisoned condition.

Moreover, your Blackblade treats poison and necrotic immunities in its target as resistances, and it ignores regular resistances.
