Base Class: Barbarian
The Path of the Fallen Star allows them to control the fundamental force of gravity and the might of the start through their rage alone. They hone their bodies through not only brutal training to withstand their own power, but their spirits as well as they tap into the fundamental power of the universe. This is why many barbarians who follow this path are not only warriors, but also star gazers, telling the fortunes of other through the alignment of the stars, or explorers using the night sky as a guide.
Guidance of the Stars
3rd-lvl Fallen Star feature
Having drawn upon the stars for power, you have an incredible sense of direction after finding a familiarity in the night sky. You gain proficiency with cartographer's tools and can always tell which way is north. In addition, you also gain darkvision with a range of 30ft. If you already have darkvision, you gain an additional 30ft.
Gravity Surge
3rd-lvl Fallen Star feature
The rage of a Fallen Star Barbarian can be felt all through out the battlefield, utilizing the power of gravity in order to control the position of others on the battlefield. When you rage, as part of the same bonus action, you can use the Gravity Surge ability to force in up to 5 creatures that are medium or smaller of your choice to make a Strength Saving Throw (DC equal to 8 + Proficiency Bonus + Constitution Modifier) or be pulled up to 30ft closer. If the creature is flying when they fail their saving throw, they drop to the ground safely and cannot fly again until the start of your next turn.
Shooting Stars
6th-lvl Fallen Star feature
The immense strength of Barbarians allow them to wield the mightiest weapons, and the Fallen Star Barbarians take this a step further by using gravity to turn anything they can hold into a miniature comet. As an action, you can pick up an object weighing 50 pounds or less and make a ranged weapon attack with it, dealing 2d6 bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage depending on the object thrown. This attack has a normal range of 30ft and long range of 60ft. This damage counts as magical for overcoming resistances and immunities.
This damage increases to 4d6 at 14th level.
In addition, your carrying capacity is doubled and you gain advantage on strength checks made to lift, push, pull, or drag objects.
Defensive Orbit
10th-lvl Fallen Star feature
As your control over gravity increases, you can use this power to protect your allies from harm with a miniature orbit that swirls around you. When you rage, you gain an orbit around you that is 10ft wide. When a creature makes a ranged weapon attack against you or another creature that is in your orbit, you can use your reaction to reduce the damage of the attack by 1d12 + your Constitution modifier + your Barbarian level.
If you reduce this damage to 0, you can use the same reaction to make a Shooting Stars ranged weapon attack against the creature who originally made the attack with the object you caught in your Defensive Orbit.
You can use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and regain all uses on a long rest.
Meteoric Crash
14th-lvl Fallen Star feature
Few things are as devastating to a world as the impact of a meteorite, a devastating force Fallen Star Barbarians seek to emulate by using their power of the stars to slam into their foes with cataclysmic power, even if they themselves feel the impact of the attack. After moving in a straight line for at least 10ft, you can make a melee attack against a creature, dealing 4d6 magical bludgeoning damage and 4d6 fire damage.
In addition, you Gravity Surge ability can now target large or smaller creatures.
