Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

Dedicated to unraveling the mysteries of the Mirror Realm, those wizards who study Mirror Magic learn to alter and distort reality by utilizing the energies of the Mirror Realm.

Mirror Focus

2nd-level Mirror Magic feature

You can use a mirror as an arcane focus.

Mirrored Spells

2nd-level Mirror Magic feature

You can suffuse your spells with the magics of the mirror realm. When you cast a spell using a spell slot of 5th level or lower while using a mirror for an arcane focus, you can change the properties of the spell in the following ways:

  • If the spell has a range of self and targets only you, you can instead cast the spell on a willing creature within 5ft of you. If the spell requires concentration, you are the one concentrating on the spell.
  • If the spell forces a creature to make a Wisdom or Charisma saving throw, you can instead substitute it for an Intelligence saving throw.
  • If you cast a spell that deals damage to a single target, you can choose to split the damage evenly with another target you can see within 30ft of the original target.

You can use each of these choses once, regaining their uses after a short rest, unless you use a bonus action to expend a spell slot of first level or higher to use one again.

Wizard’s Double

2nd-level Mirror Magic feature

You learn how to quickly create a mirror duplicate of yourself. As a bonus action, you can create a single mirror image next to you that follows the rules of the mirror image spell. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier, regaining all expensed uses on a long rest.

Additionally, when you reach third level you can add the mirror image spell to your spellbook if it is not already there.

Reflective Fabrication

6th-level Mirror Magic feature

Through studying the properties of reflection, you can channel the magic of the mirror realm into creating a perfect duplicate of any object. As an action, you can create a magical duplicate of a small or smaller object you can see or have seen that appears in an unoccupied space within 10ft of you. This object is a perfect physical duplication of the object and has the same mundane functionality as the original but not any magical properties the original object had.

This magical duplicate lasts for a number of hours equal to your intelligence modifier. If you have materials equal to the GP cost of the object your attempting to duplicate, you can instead creat a permanent duplicate but you destroy the materials used in its creation.

You you can use this ability only once, regaining its use at the end of a long rest or unless you expend a spell slot of any level to use this ability again.

Luminance Swap

10th-level Mirror Magic feature

As a reaction to being hit by an attack, you can attempt to swap places with a creature you can see within 60ft of you. An unwilling creature must make an intelligence saving throw, swapping places with you on a failure. The triggering attack is than made against the swapped creature instead, potentially letting them take the hit for you.

You can use this ability a number of times equal to you proficiency bonus, regaining all spent uses after a long rest.

True Duplication

14th-level Mirror Magic feature

You add the simulacrum spell to your spell book if it is not already there. You can cast this spell once on yourself as an action and without the material price, and you regain the ability to do so when you finish 1d4 long rests.

When you cast this spell in this way your simulacrum lasts for 1 minute and only has 1st through 5th level spell slots and half your hit points. Your Simulacrum appears in a space next to you wearing the same clothes and equipment as you but without any of the magical properties those items might posses.
