Base Class: Monk
Those that follow the way of the vengeful soul have usually witnessed or been victim to some kind of wrong doing. These few monks hear offerings of power or help through an awakening of some sort.
Force of Retribution
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you learn to channel the power of vengeance in a series of quick attacks.
Once per short rest when a creature harms you or an ally you may use your reaction to mark that creature. When you use your flurry of blows against that creature you get advantage on all attacks against that creature. Additionally when the creature hits 0 hit points you may use a reaction to mark another creature that has harmed you or an ally within 1 minute.
You may spend 1 ki point to use the ability again.
(RAI you have to mark another creature within one minute of the current creature hitting zero hit points)
Chilling Aura
A side effect of you starting down this path has caused others to be more prone to listening to what you have to say.
You gain proficiency in persuasion and Intimidation and you add your wisdom modifier to persuasion and intimidation checks.
Retributive Recharge
At 6th level your vengeful soul now offers you power when an ally is badly injured.
Whenever you complete a long rest you can select a number of creatures equal to your Proficiency modifier. Whenever one of the chosen creatures is reduced to 0 hit points or suffers a critical hit by a hostile creature, you regain 1 ki point. The maximum ki you can regain from this feature is equal to your Wisdom modifier.
Vengeful Resolve
At 11th level the vengeful soul inside of you has strengthened. It now will help you survive an enemies onslaught for a price.
When you are reduced to 0 hit points you can spend a ki point to return to an amount of health equal to your Wisdom modifier.
Vengeful Aura
You're vengeful soul has reached its maximum potential as your body is perpetually wreathed in a dense aura.
Vengeful Aura
Whenever you use your Force of Retribution ability the marked enemy now takes an additional monk die of force damage as your fists are enveloped in an aura befitting your vengeance.
You gain a +2 to AC, Patient Defense now costs no ki, and when a creature make an attack against you or an ally as a reaction you can use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack against the attacking creature.
