College of Tales

Throughout history its always been Storytellers that capture History in the Hearts of people. Through time and translation storytellers are the oldest historians, the written word came long after the oral tradition. Only the Author truly knows that Legends and History are often the same just changed for their respective audiences. The Bards that choose to express this side are few and far between often lonely travelers or performers weaving together the lines of myth and reality into one beautiful work of art to be remembered and shared by all.  

Storybook

3rd-level College of Legends feature

At 3rd Level you acquire a Storybook filled with various myths, tales, and legends. you are able to copy new stories into the book as well as create your own. while being held your storybook can be used a spellcasting focus and is a component  to use Tales of the Spirits class feature.

If you lose your Story Book you can spend a long rest to create a new one

Your travel and love of stories and tales have given you knowledge on the world and its history while recalling information from Stories. You have advantage on Nature and History checks involving recalling information from Stories and Legends.

Manifest Legend

3rd-level College of Legends feature

You can spin your stories to life made to inspire wonder in those around you. As an action you can expend an Bardic Inspiration Die and summon a Legend from a story you are familiar with. The Legend takes on a Spectral form of your choosing no bigger then Large and is friendly to you and all allies. You are able to telepathically communicate with your Legend and all attacks made by the Legend are considered magical. The Legend Lasts for 10 minutes as long as concentration is maintained on it or until the Legend is reduced to 0 hit points. The Legends challenge rating can be no greater then 1/3 your Bardic Level and uses the creatures stat block. 

As your level increases so does your knowledge of Myth and Legend. At higher levels your list of available summons increases when you reach certain levels in this class. Beasts at 3rd level, Fey at 5th level, Elementals at 10th level, and Dragons 15th level.

6th-level College of Legends feature

Your tales and stories Inspire those who listen, and your days travelling have made you use to the warmth of a Fireside. when using your song of rest ability you may expend an Bardic Inspiration Die and grant your allies temporary hitpoints equal to the number rolled until your next long rest. 

 

Master of Legends

You have mastered the art of Storytelling and your magic is limited merely by your imagination. 

• When using Manifest Legend you may summon creatures up to half your Bardic Level
• You may use Manifest Legend as a Bonus Action 
• All attacks made by your Legend are considered Magical
