Base Class: Paladin
The Oath of the Moon is sworn to the ideals of natural transition, patterns, and all the beauty that life has to offer. The paladins who swear this oath dedicate themselves to a lunar deity, and typically the Church of the Moon as well. In particular, the moon elf seaside kingdom of Gardynia, ruled by the Lampris family, trains many paladins in the way of this oath. These paladins are watchful protectors, and they often take a stance against those who might seek to force a wrongful transition--whether it be a greedy grab of power, forcing someone less than hostile to transition from life to death, or someone unnaturally and unnecessarily damaging the world around them. Often paladins who swear this oath have a deep connection to their oath that is unique to the individual, and these unique bonds are celebrated by those in the order as well as the moon god themselves. This oath is often sworn by knights of kingdoms who largely worship the moon god in order for them to be allowed into higher ranks or to earn promotions.
Eyes of Moonlight
When taking this oath, a paladin gains darkvision out to a range of 60 ft. if they did not already have it.

Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Emissary of the Moon. As an action, you grant a number of creatures equal to your proficiency bonus a +5 bonus to Dexterity (Stealth) checks for the next 1 hour. You also negate any disadvantage caused by armor among the creatures affected by this bonus.
Transition of the Moon. Immediately after an attacker within 30 ft. moves at least 5 ft. towards a creature other than you, you can use your reaction to force the attacker to make a Wisdom saving throw. Upon failing, the attacker takes radiant damage equal to your spellcasting modifier and cannot use movement in any direction except in the most direct path towards you until the start of its next turn.
Aura of Lunar Protection
Starting at 7th level, you can shield others from harm at the cost of your own health and energy. When a creature within 30ft of you would make a saving throw against a spell or spell effect, you may expend your reaction to give them advantage on the roll. If a creature you have expended a use of this feature on would take damage, you may instead redirect half of the damage to yourself. Any additional effects of the spell or spell effect are suffered by the initial target. This feature doesn’t transfer any other effects that might accompany the damage, and this damage can’t be reduced in any way.
You may use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. All expended uses are regained after a long rest.
Lunar Tides of Battle
Starting at 15th level, once per round of combat, when a creature within 60 ft. of range takes any or all of its movement, you may push it 15 ft. away from you or pull it 15 ft. closer to you. If you target yourself, you may push yourself in any direction. You may do this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses on a short or long rest.
Emissary of the Moon
At 20th level, you become an avatar of the night's calm, which gives you these benefits:
- You gain a flying speed equal to your movement speed. This speed doubles during the night.
- If you or an ally would make a death saving throw, you may choose to allow any success to critically succeed. You may not use this feature again until after a long rest.
